  1. Putin Mocked As Only A Single T-34 Tank Was Present For Moscow’s Victory Day Parade
    https://www.forbes.com/sites/petersuciu/2023/05/09/putin-mocked-as-only-a-single-t-34-tank-was-present-for-moscows-victory-day-parade/?sh=51961d032d7f

The May 9th events and the parade looked pathetic and pitiful, and that is extremally telling. In Orgrimmar the Tsar must always look strong. Weak tsar gets replaced. And the tsar looked weak and frail (his body doubles must be trembling in fear now) a visibly sick, bloated, barely standing shell of the former alpha male. It is not even the fact that his Chicom masters did not bother to send anyone more senior than an ambassador, that Lukashenko “felt sick” (polonium tea as reward for going behind Pootin’s back to Chicoms and Iran?) refused treatment and raced back to Minsk, that virtually no heads of state apart for two presidents from Stans bothered to visit, that a mock parade was held in Tatarstan. Those are mere symptoms.

What really matters is that Silovniki, FSB, GRU did not bother to make a better show. They knew things will look pathetic and consciously let them be pathetic. It is not like russia could not scrape a company of T-90s and BMP-3s for show, but they did not. Why? Dead man presiding, that’s why.

Yeltsin was smart, he looked for someone who would be loyal and guaranteed safe exit with no subsequent prosecution. Pootin forgot that lesson. He got none to replace him and guarantee a safe passage into Yeltsin/Khrushchev like obscurity. He will go down and so will his lieutenants like Lavrov or Shoigu. The fact that Prigozhin publicly refers to Pootin as “that old fart in his bunker” and gets away with it should tell you everything. The smarter of Pootin’s rats should be looking for safe refuge just about now.

    1. Ypu’re better informed than me, C. i hope what you said is factually close to reality; too much smoke and mirrors to get a real grip on this. (I note with no surprise that that our resident Putin poodle is relatively quiet lately…)

      1. I agree that the situation is very blurred and that I am reading from tea leaves here. But tsar has never looked that weak and the fact that this was not prevented speaks volumes. I have been wrong about my predictions regarding this war in the past, but if I was to bet, I would bet on the levee breaking sooner than later.

        1. thee COLON KINZINGER spreading more nazis BS, do they pay you COLON K, or are you just clinically stupid?

        2. ” I have been wrong about my predictions regarding this war in the past”

Yes, because you let your inexplicable level of hatred for Russians overcome whatever common sense you may possess. We know.

Fantasies notwithstanding, saner heads have been saying all along that the Ukrainians will not be ‘winning’ this war, ever…it’s just not possible. Negotiate now, and save a few thousand more lives. You don’t have to like this outcome…you just have to accept it.

          1. Actually I was wrong because I continue to constantly overestimate orcs and underestimate the magnificent Ukrainians. Anyway, anything resembling analysis is beyond your capacity so no point to argue. Besides orcs aren’t interested in any negotiations. They will, but not yet.

        3. “Actually I was wrong because I continue to constantly overestimate orcs and underestimate the magnificent Ukrainians. ”

Yes, and that’s why the Ukrainians will be driving the Russians completely out of all their territories *any day now*, right? Right?

    2. No tanks for parade? Perhaps Putin thought there was a risk of the tank soldiers shooting him?

      1. Reminds me of a story about Saddam Hussein, back in the “good old days”. He was presiding over some “Grand Victory Parade” or other, and a security pre-check discovered that one of the tanks lined-up for the parade had a full combat load-out of ammunition. The crew was unceremoniously dragged-away and shot.

At least it’s possible that the crew may not have had intentions on the Dear Leader’s head; the CF Buffalo #461 on peacekeeping ops over Syria that the Syrians shot down, it’s hard to argue anything but evil intent on that. Apparently when news of that made it to the Syrian high command, they cragged the crew out of their control cab and gunned them down. “Thou Shalt NOT Embarrass “Dear Leader””…

    3. Where did you get that “dead man angle”? Some yellow Polish tabloid?
Here’s another take on the Prigozhin drama. Putin is in bed with the oligarchs. The generals are also. They are prepared to sell out to the highest bidders. A peace deal will be made. A handful of hardliners and “patriots” on the streets may be pissed that Putin hasn’t flattened the Ukraine yet. They pose no threat. The liberal progressives have left Russia for the West and are reading yellow tabloids. Beware. Once an Orc, always an Orc.

The war has been good for business. The scrap is being salvaged and recycled. The oil and gas keep flowing, even to Natostan, as do the trains loaded with with strategic metals. https://railmarket.com/news/business/2726-russian-railways-are-key-conduit-for-strategic-metals-used-in-ukrainian-weapons. Strange way to conduct a war if one were serious about conducting a war.

Many will be disappointed how this squabble between the plantation owners, including the CCP, will end. The big losers will be old Europe with their industry hollowed out. And of course the Ukraine. Putin will retire in a Dacha with his millions and West and BRICS can then get on with their Great New Reset project for the masses.

      1. You are a prime example why everyone sane hates orcs. You’re like mini Lawrov, intellectually inconsistent, jumping from topic to topic, cynically deflecting without even an attempt at sincerity. That is why it is always rewarding when you get a brick to your snouts.

And no Pootin is not going to expire in retirement. Either he’ll crock out of natural causes or will be helped along the way. Probably sooner than later.

As for trade. Let’s ignore you being being your usual demagogue liar for now. Remember when Siberian Mongols demanded everyone pays in Rubble for their exports? And all you Pootin’s sock puppets were compulsively spanking your tiny monkeys over that? Only Hungary does that. Better yet, Chicoms refuse to touch rubble and demand orcs to pay in Yuan and Indians refuse to touch rubble and demand to pay orcs in Rupees. The result. Otrcs are sitting on a mountain of foreign currency that can only be exchanged through Indian foreign central bank when Indians want to, and they don’t. Orcs have billions of ruppies than none else wants. But it gets worse with respect to Chicoms. Chicoms forecast nearly full oil reserves and reduced demand for orc oil. And orcs are dependent on Chicoms for imports so the trade balance will very soon reverse itself. Except that orcs are not sitting on a mountain of Yuan they are sitting on a mountain of Rupees that none wants. 5D Snakes and Ladders

    1. “Terry Fox pic, on Canada’s passports, replaced by a wheelbarrow pic”

      – Yes but is it an INDIGENOUS wheelbarrow?

      1. Umm the indigenous peoplekind didn’t have the wheel till after whitey came. So isn’t that cultural appropriation?

A Canadian mining project takes between 12 to 15 years from exploration to production. Even Natural Resources Minister Jonathan Wilkinson realizes this timeline needs to be shortened by reducing regulatory burden.A study by the Canada West Foundation found that, of 24 projects undergoing the federal government’s impact assessment process since 2019, not one has been completed. None has even moved past phase twoof the four–phase process.

  3. France’s department with highest number of illegal immigrants on brink of civil war
    https://rmx.news/france/frances-department-with-highest-number-of-illegal-immigrants-on-brink-of-civil-war/

… In the latest development last week, the French government failed to dismantle slums where illegal immigrants live and send them back to where they came from. A French court said the dismantling of slums could not go ahead, and the Comorian government announced it would not take back its nationals in spite of a 2019 agreement whereby Paris paid €150 million in exchange for the Union of the Comoros accepting the return of its illegal migrants.

The legal part of the population of Mayotte is so fed up that the deputy president of the department, centrist Salime Mdere, said last week on TV that in order to deter what he called young Comorian “terrorists” from assaulting and robbing French citizens, the authorities would have to kill some, “and I am weighing my words,” he insisted several times…
