      1. The real history of Eunuchs is of occupying a separate demoted space specifically because of not being female and also because of having diminished male capacity. If we returned to calling them castrato or Eunuch or carzimasia it would be historically accurate and the reality oriented wording would likely be directionally useful.

This reminds me of the women’s US soccer team which wants to be paid the same as the men’s team, and the Canadian women’s hockey team that went on strike for better pay. The sense of entitlement is staggering.

    1. Not quite the same thing, Steve. In the case of the women’s team sports, Ok, I’ll grant you that, unless I’m mistaken, the Women’s teams don’t draw the same advertising and attendance revenue, which remuneration should obviously be based on. However, the Canadian Women’s hockey were being deliberately underfunded by the Governing body.
      There was/is such a disparity that it’s indefensible.

    2. If every woman in Canada tuned in to watch women’s hockey, they’d be paid more than any NHLer.

Don’t know if some here remember transgender tennis player Dr. Rene Richards back in the 70’s – Once she was outed by journalist Dick Carlson (Tucker’s dad) as being a dude after winning a women’s tennis tournament in California she took her case to court for the right to compete in women’s events and actually won. After being allowed to compete her success was somewhat mixed.
    However, after 40 years or so she’s had time to reflect and said this in an interview.

    “The notion that one can take hormones and be considered a woman without sex reassignment surgery is nuts in my opinion,” Richards told the British newspaper. And she went on to say that if she had transitioned in her 20s, rather than 40s, she would never have competed as a woman, because in her words, she “would have beaten the women to a pulp.”

    Also, nothing is stopping it from competing in the open division (typically called “mens”)

    This is considered good.
    Women cannot compete with men as athletes, because they are slower and weaker.
    This is considered bad.
    In other words: Women invading male spaces = good, men invading female spaces = bad.
    Like I said before, a nation of Karens and Manginas, an utterly feminized society of pussywillows who can only aspire to graduate to buttercups.
    If women want equal rights, they better learn to take a real punch in the mouth like a man, otherwise, well, they’re women.

  26. Re the ‘shop floor’ thing. There are so many things wrong with FU’s position on that specific point he made.
    I’ll only suggest a couple; women are simply better at repetitive and precision tasks. That’s just a well recognized fact.
    The need for bull strength in ‘factory’ environment is pretty much a thing of the past; automation has made it obsolete.
    An example of women being preferable is featured in the the documentary* on the Tahltan nation in Northern BC. Their minesite operation deliberately hires and train women to operate their massive excavators and earthmovers as they are waaaay easier on the equipment, or so the company claims.

    1. DaninVan, FU also ignores historical traditional factory workers; women and children, particularly children. The ‘mostly guys’ thing came later as productivity improved and men could earn enough to cover expenses that allowed their wives to stay home with the children… after child labor laws came into play.

      Take stamping mills making small parts. Children were quick, cheap, and expendable. Textile mills were almost exclusively women and children. Women and children were also used in coal mines because they could work the narrow seams. That, and the coal barons did not pay the men enough, so the whole family worked in the mines just to be able to eat.

      FU needs to call up a few dozen videos regarding who performed ‘traditional’ tasks starting with the industrial revolution up until about 1900 or so. Men were only hired in factories when the employer was forced to use them for their superior strength and endurance.

      Men cost more than women and children so they were the historical and traditional choice of last resort.

      Then the labor laws changed… and that brings us to the times FU seems to think were the start of it all.
