It was right that this case was dismissed.
The judge was quite wrong in prattling on about the provincial government’s plan though. It’s not up to a judge to pontificate over the merits of a government’s actions, only to decide whether such actions are constitutional or not. In a democracy, government policies and programmes are the purview of the legislature.
But then this is basic civics and I suppose we simply should not expect youth educated in our modern school curricula to know such things.
Did the judge also assess costs against the Young Eco-loons, and their shadowy supporters?
