  1. A fair amount of obvious BS in this one. The claim that ” the most dangerous place was the modern household” was obvious nonsense compared to what happened to family households in the early 1940s. What is worse is the claims about children’s chemistry sets. In those days, children and parents were presumed to have some education and could actually read and understand warning labels.

    1. CGH …. I laugh at the chemistry set stories that come up … maybe there were a bunch of kids that won Darwin awards with their chemistry sets but my friends and I all got ours and read the instructions and survived!!
Todays kids all eat Tide pods because they look yummy. The modern world is full of dummies who can’t tell the difference between a boy and a girl.

  2. BBC snobby lady. “Especially for those poor, benighted, horrible middle classes.”

  3. I made it through 18 mins then had to stop watching. What struck me first was the lack of male guest on the show. All women and what could go wrong. Not a lick of common sense from any of them.
The next thing was I kept thinking Darwin awards. Most of the “news stories” involved stupid tricks win stupid prizes kind of events. After 15 mins I thought let’s just see 1 more deadly example and sure enough they proved to me this was a waste of my time.
