Real GDP is after inflation. Yes profits are up, but that is less due to the economy and more due to a driver and equipment shortage.

9The manipulation of the media has been very obvious during the “pandemic” and vaccine push. The mainstream media are part of the propaganda machine which includes governments and tech. We were fed a narrative. Questions and counter- narratives were not allowed. A number of years ago, a German journalist ( Udo Ulfke wrote a book explaining exactly how these narratives are pushed. Known journalists are fed articles to be published under their byline. Often they are paid for use of their byline. The articles come from agencies pushing the narrative — in the past, often government agencies such as the CIA. Ulfke claims it’s how journalism works all around the world.
At some mid- point it became obvious to me that the Globe was doing this — pushing some agency’s ( UN?, Health Canada, PMO?) articles and using a “trusted” journalist’s byline. A curious thing is that the Globe would shop these articles around — one week Andre Picard, another week Marcus Gee. Even Andrew Coyne played this game. The give-away was that you knew all of these people were not carefully following the vaccine issues or discussion of alternatives like Ivermectin. Plus the language and arguments were identical to those coming from ” official sources.” Very transparent. The Globe is also guilty of publishing misleading information that they refused to correct about the risk of transmission from unvaccinated. It is now hard to have any respect for or trust in main stream media. I’ve gone after the Globe because I followed their coverage of the pandemic more carefully, but they are all the same. These people have no integrity.

It is now possible to report that masks and lockdowns did not work, big pharma lied, governments lied, children were damaged by not attending school in person, vaccines have side effects, natural immunity exists, the epidemic was likely caused by a lab, leak, etc. A while back, any of this would have gotten you banned on social media.
A number of government level studies globally are digging into who lied to us and why.
Were not the governments themselves the biggest liars? Some still lying. BC still has vaccine mandate for its public sector workers.
In BC I think the public sector workers are okay with the oppression. Many of them are enjoying working from home. Never missed a paycheck.

Posted this on Friday but thought I’d push it here for comment as it seems appropriate.
I can accept an apology from the lower levels of the health care workers, grudgingly I’ll overlook and understand that they were as ignorant as the people that lined up for an experimental procedure. However I will not accept or forgive the upper levels of the medical profession, the government cabinets and leaders that implemented the mandates and least of all the pharmaceutical companies that have caused all of the deaths, injuries, and destruction. As a compassionate society we should have in our soul the ability to forgive and move on however to unconditionally forgive in this instance is beyond human capability. There has to be some kind of punishment meted out to prevent this ever happening again. The number of dead and injured resulting from this planned, and indeed it was planned, program may never be truly known. For that reason alone there must be a level of atonement submitted to society. To fail in that endeavour is to ensure that it will happen again. We had no problem after WWII in administering justice and as a result we created the Nuremberg Laws, the fact that these laws were broken must be forefront of how we now proceed. We should make damn sure that we have no problem in administering justice now. The big problem is the numbers that should be brought to trial and if you think that it is too enormous to tackle then they have won and we are all just serfs to be used at their beck and call as instruments for their preverted pleasure.

We gave them those powers, because we were foolish enough to believe they had true concern for our welfare!
These evil miscreants will never be brought to justice while they control the justice system and all the other levers of power. There simply are not enough people awakened to the truth, plus numerous others that refuse to accept the real truth as that would mean accepting they were gullible and were fooled. They would rather continue accepting the lies, because realizing they were misled deliberately, would take them to a place their minds refuses to accept does exist! Until we can reach enough with the truth, nothing will change!
