Except in this case there’s a trail of confirmed and confirmable financial donations and official government reports indicating how deep the rot goes.
Personally I trust CSIS as much as I trust a cage full of rabid badgers, so I interpret this as an internal faction fight over the Liberal Party coffers.
It’s not so much that one trusts CSIS but that one does not, under any circumstances, trust the blackface-wearing moron who has been caught time and time again giving the Chinese what they want.
I hope the shitstorm in Ottawa reaches proportions even Mr. Lahey couldn’t fathom.
