    1. that’s right. Complicate the life of those who are giving something extremely valuable for free. Wow, who is the moron responsible for that?

      1. There is something weird about the photo. The blow up photo shows the sign on the left hand side of the window, and the main photo shows it on the right.

          1. “Two signs? You can see the steel post just beneath the blow up.”

Good eye. Took me a minute to spot it, but it appears that they placed the ‘inset’ right in place of the actual sign they photographed.

  1. Do I get paid extra for Pureblood™ ?

*and note: I’m not about to sign off on this if I think they’re just going to throw my perfectly good blood or blood parts away by giving it to some multi jabbed believer in all things gov’t.

*how about I just park where I want.

    1. I gave plenty pre-Covid. When there were mask rules, I stopped.
Now that they can’t support the PUREBLOOD community, I’ve walked away until they segregate PUREBLOOD and Spike poisoned goo.

    2. “*how about I just park where I want.”

I do that on my rare trips to Ikea . No one will *ever* call you on it, either.

(well, no one who actually works there and wants to keep their job)

Virtue-signal on your own time…I’m here to spend my money in your store…

  2. So …. Driving an electric car in Sask. is the equivalent of being handicapped? You get a handicapped parking spot right in front of the blood bank? So where do the ACTUAL handicapped people park?

  3. I once parked in a so called low emissions spot for over an hour and no one said or did anything about it.

    1. I could be wrong here, but I think most of these silly signs don’t have the force of behind them, so yes – continue to park in those spots.

      1. “I could be wrong here, but I think most of these silly signs don’t have the force of behind them, so yes – continue to park in those spots.”

That’s it, exactly. Handicapped spots are protected by law, but everything else from ‘low-emissions’ to ‘mothers with children’ is fair game. No retail outlet will ever question you on it, either…they just rely on Canadians to feel too guilty to disobey.

        1. Bang-on. I’ll park in the “hybrid only” spots and I’ve never been challenged, much to my disappointment. I sympathize with expecting mothers and would yield a spot to them irrespective of any woke signage. And I’d walk a mile in rotten weather before I’d screw over a handicapped person by stealing their spot, andb that has nothing to do with getting a $300 fine

  4. Perfect spot for a Hummer.
Rub it in their woke faces.
EV’s are not zero emission or even low emission, you need to put 60 to 80K on an EV to cover off the carbon emissions emitted during manufacturing over an ICE vehicle.
So technically the Hummer is a lower emission vehicle.

  5. “Low emission” – my vehicle is low emission. Please prove otherwise, Ms. Tainted Blood Hallway Monitor.

    1. The Hawg gets over 40 mpg. Low enough for the bastards? I’m thinking, back up to the signs, point the drag pipes directly at the front door & let ’em know you’ve arrived.

  6. For what it is worth, these types of things are usually part of a LEED building certification. https://www.cagbc.org/our-work/certification/leed/ Yes, you are right, it is all globalist value signalling bullshit. This sort of thing is occasionally boosted by city councils by providing tax incentives for developers who build LEED certified buildings.

When designing or retrofitting a building, architects and other globalist value signallers use a LEED certification to boast about how green they are. This is why you will occasionally see an industrial building in the middle of nowhere with a bike rack in front of it buried in a snow-drift. You get points on a checklist for doing things like this – I guarantee you that sign gets more points and costs less than putting an extra layer of insulation on the roof.

Regina Blood Services is likely renting space and has nothing to do with the building certification.

    1. Thanks William, that’s an interesting take. I should have realized LEED would be woke along with everything else. Mind, the sign has their logo and colors, unlike the generic signs you see in various malls. I think this is all on CBS.

Regardless, It won’t stop me from smiling whenever I park in one those hybrid spots, though.

  7. Tell the assholes to keep their eye on the ball and do their jobs.
    Their track record isn’t great:

    2016
“Victims of Canada’s tainted blood scandal to share $207M compensation fund surplus
The excess money is part of a $1-billion trust created to settle a class action launched in 1998 against the Canadian Red Cross, which then administered blood banks”

  8. William

Canadian Blood Service may have not done the certification you talk about, but they are certainly
going along with it – so much so the signs have their logo at the top.
