Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Prepared for a bail out he means. All the big banks know they no longer have skin in the game. Reap the profits, saved from losses.
For the last 30 years, politicians of all stripes have used rising housing prices as a mark of health for our economy, whether it was true or not. We survived the ’08 meltdown relatively unscathed and it gave the stupid a false sense of security. It should have been a humungous warning sign that the apparent good days won’t last forever. Instead, like the progressive sheep that we’ve been bred to be, we doubled down and pushed prices into the stratosphere where very few people will ever be able to pay them off.
Now, reality is getting tired of being ignored and is going to show us just how brutal it can be to those who don’t pay attention to it.
To be prepared for what? Confiscating the assets of anyone on the GiveSendGo donors list?
Walter …
At least he didn’t mention “Bail-in” …yet. Thanks Stephen Harper
But they will…..count on it.
15 years ago is approximately when I remember economic pundits and ‘experts’ writing that there no longer were reliable economic indicators.
I’m thinking their compiled data is so much horse shit in one place and not a lot more.
They’ll just tell you what they want you to know, which is not very much. They will manipulate and massage any data point that will reinforce their convenience peddling.
MMT will solve everything.
There is only one problem with MMT. It works as long as it doesn’t cause inflation.
I’ve been of the opinion that our fiat money will eventually collapse as it’s been deliberately designed to do so, it’s just a question of when. This part of the plan is to destroy wealth and turn mortgage holders into debt slaves they can never escape from. The when, is when it suits the elite trash trying to destroy our way of life and turn us over into a new techno feudal society that they control. It’s been a multi faceted multi pronged deliberate set of plans by the WEF for decades. Only now it’s so far down the rabbit hole they no longer care that we see it. They don’t think the majority of sheeple will notice or care, and once they bring in digital passports and then follow that with digital currency their new utopia will be set in stone!
It’s getting real close too, probably this year or next.
Oh, and this site might also vanish, they don’t like us communicating with one another.
” they don’t like us communicating with one another. ”
Perhaps we should get back to the bars and taverns like our Yankee brothers did in ye old days, I heard it worked well for Paul Revere.
House prices have dropped enough in my area that there are probably a lot of people who bought houses a year ago who have negative equity.
It’s no skin of my nose. I paid for my house a decade ago and use it as a place to live so it’s resale value is of no concern. The banks however could have a problem when these people lose their jobs or need to relocate for some reason.
I didn’t read the paywalled article but I think we are far more likely to see a bail in than a bail out next time
