  1. I was in Cape Town in 2019 and observed first hand how people managed the rolling blackouts or “Load Shedding” as it has been designated. Doesn’t load shedding sound nice? Almost as if over weight people were just taking steps to lose a few extra pounds.
    I asked our friends why the coal powered plant we saw on the outskirts of town was not working. They told me that money designated for maintenance and new equipment was magically disappearing into the overseas bank accounts of those in charge. So it was corruption more than the incompetency of workers that was leading to the collapse of infrastructure.
    Shops and restaurants would close when the power went out except for the more prosperous ones who had back up diesel generators.
    The biggest inconvenience was when the traffic lights went out if the load shedding occurred during rush hour.
    The people of pallor were mostly resigned to their fate. Young ones emigrating, middle aged getting citizenship to another country and the elderly buying a retirement home in a gated community.

    1. It would appear that black people on average, are not sufficiently evolved to exist in a modern society on their own, without white people to provide everything and to blame for everything.

    In 1991 we had the cheapest energy in Africa and supplied countries to the north of us.
    In 2001 the state electricity supply company won an award for world class efficiency.
    Post 1994 Skilled whites made a killing as “consultants” to black owned enterprises (BEE) who got all the state tenders. The younger whites emigrated as job opportunities and promotions evaporated.
    Apartheid South Africa was no capitalist state as large parts of the economy were state owned enterprises which became ripe fruit for the kleptocratic class of well connected. The srate airline bled taxpayers dry before collapse, the railways previously among the best for a middle income country are now mostly a map of what was once there, only one province maintains its highways and can operate its clinics and hospitals effectively .
    I sincerely believe that institutional knowledge of how to keep infrastructure grunning has largely disappeared even if theft could be stopped.
    The upside is that unlike Natostan, no one has believed the state has their interests at heart and that self sufficiency and regulation bending are necessary for survival. This has been gradual whereas Natostan’s population is struggling to realise how they have been betrayed by their political/financial/information classes. WEF Fourth Industrial Revolution anyone?

  9. I am not surprised at the comments of corruption and lack of maintenance. I do not know if it is race based, but I have noticed that “poor” people are poor because of their attitudes. They prefer short term pleasure to long term gain, they do not take care of what they own, they buy lots of cheap furniture and then are surprised when it does not last and they do not value education. I have seen this across the colour spectrum. My sister has great Philipino neighbors for the last 5 years. They are hard workers at their businesses, but they do not take care of their home. She has advised them to clean out the gutters (there are baby trees growing in the gutters, blocking the flow of water). Every spring for the past 5 years, the water backs up on the single story roof and causes ice dams, resulting in water flowing down the top of the drywall in their house. They have 2 sons who are 18 and 20, who could get up on a ladder and clean out the gutters. But that does not happen. They also do not maintain their cars, never have done an oil/air filter change. If you own something, you must take care of it.

    1. I seem to recall the story of one native who just moved into a new house on the reserve in Ontario, provided gratis of .gov .
      He couldn’t get a piece of furniture into the house so he took a chainsaw and cut a huge opening in the wall then put a tarp over that hole.
      To my recollection that hole still has not been closed up.

One of them is the culture that developed in the early 1800s around Red River, Willow Bunch, Batoche, St. Albert, etc. and their descendants who mostly now look whiter than white with a lot of that pink faced Scot shining through. The other is someone with less than the legal ancestry to be Indian.

          The kids of one Indian I know are registered as Metis. I think she is only 25% Indian but looks 100 % white. Why an Indian women would ever admit that her baby daddy is white is beyond me. The kids and grandkids will lose out on freebies. In the west white men have been breeding Indian women for over a couple hundred years. Indians will cease being genetic Indians but whitie will keep writing the cheques.

  15. During the first few years of this century, Hugo Chavez had a new constitution written in Venezuela which spread the love equally amongst the people, and now there’s very little love left. Each year, the dam providing +80% of the electricity of the nation nears internal ruin from cavitation and “load shedding” occurs for hours each day.
    No one in gov’t has a clue as to why this is. Paper fiat currency in Vzla is weighed rather than counted when the locals buy bread, as it’s not worth the time to actually count it. USA dollars are still counted, as is crypto currency.

    Some folks on Twitter think Jack Posobiec shouldn’t comment on topics he knows nothing about. The reason he knows nothing about this appears to be that he is a middle aged white man. The basis for South Africa’s current greatness appears to be that it is now a black majority run country. Somewhat related to this, I am relieved that “someone” had the foresight to move the nuclear bombs S.A. had out of the country when it became apparent that major changes were well on the way, and it pleases me to no end to know how angry Nelson Mandela was when he discovered this had occurred prior to him being crowned President.

      De Klerk surrendered. After the Soviet’s fell the USA was able to abandon its ally (Reagan was real world, Thatcher was real world, Mulroney was pretend world).
      Could SA have continued without international allies? Who knows. It is hard to go against the whole world.

Given the post at the start of this thread, I would say that the usual cozy relationship that socialist/dictator governments develop between business leaders, the government ministers, and their friends mean that the ministers are working with the business leaders to grab the money and run. In other words, corruption. Diversity may help, because it provides an excuse to hire your friends and fire anyone who apposes your corruption, but this video presented not proof of a causal relationship. Telling people who they may hire and fire gives the government too much power over business and so the temptation to use it to enrich oneself is far greater. It also means the government may, at any time, accuse business of breaking the law, allowing them to threaten business at any time if they don’t fork it over.

  21. Speaking of Infrastructure collapse … one only needs to look at the N.CA Utility: PG&E. This thoroughly awokened Energy Corp. transitioned from a white male ENGINEERING enterprise to a fully woke Wall Street operated cash cow for minority hires and Stock Market maximization in the 1980’s. The fastest way to make the company “look good on paper” … and show their “diverse” directorship as “successful”? Stop spending on mundane things like infrastructure. Stop spending so much on maintenance. Don’t fix it till it breaks.

    Fast forward to the 20-teens … and failing PG&E power equipment incinerates half of the State and hundreds of living human souls. So … now … we pay the HIGHEST energy rates in the United States … in one of the mildest climate zones in America. And now, we ratepayers are paying for the $ multi-billion settlements.

    And a key part of PG&E’s ability to have sucked the ratepayers dry? Global Warming. As part of the Corporation’s wokitude … they fully embraced the “Green” energy demanded by State Politicians and the CAPUC. This cooperative (read: communist) partnership between PG&E, the PUC, and CA’s supermajority leftist Legislature led to more and more dollars diverted from maintenance and more and more into global Warmist and woke policies.

    Yes … despite the outrageously expensive undergrounding of power lines … PG&E’s infrastructure continues to crumble, and no one gives a shit about ANY of its fossil fuel or nuclear power generation anymore. Trust me folks … the ratepayers are TAPPED OUT … energy BROKE … despite more rate hikes coming. There is NO MORE DEEP POCKETED consumers. The cash cow has been slaughtered … and sadly … the WHOLE SYSTEM needs rebuilding. This is what wokery gets you … a jokery of business and industry. And the WEF wants to take this … International!

  22. Apartheid was not eliminated or banned in SA. It was reversed as it is being done in Canada. The difference is that in Canada, the vast majority, without realizing it yet are now second class citizens. 94% of Canadians (increasing with immigration) are less than 1/16th qualifying Indian racial purity. Metis (no quantum purity required) had to be given higher status to attempt to rebalance the narrative. Corrupt Indian Chiefs and Councils are recognized by the SCOC as an order of government on par with the federal government despite being on the federal dole. Resource industries are at a standstill unless they follow SCOC dictates of consultation IOW, buy off the Indian bands through employment, equity, or cash. Meanwhile joe six-pack Indian on the reserve is paid to remain where there are no jobs or opportunities. Progressives in all endeavors are now implementing “indigenous knowledge” as part of the apartheid reversal.
