I don’t think McCarthy should do a Pelosi and rip up a speech, that’s just silly.
As for investigating Biden, it wouldn’t really be replying in kind. All of the Trump investigations are groundless, and go nowhere. There are plenty of investigations into Biden that could go ahead based on all kinds of probable cause. He bragged on video about the Ukraine prosecutor being fired. His son’s laptop has plenty of probable cause documented on it, and it is corroborated by the witness Bobolinski. Now we have a case of classified documents carelessly handled. He is the one with the security clearance that put those documents at risk, so he is responsible.
So is this document scandal the one that they will use to pressure him to not run in 2024, or is there going to be something else we haven’t seen yet?
From my position the entire point of impeachment would be to distract Biden from continuing to implement his nation-destroying agenda. The first two years threaten to dismantle the nation.
