NAME THE JUDGES

Yet another story about an innocent person shot by gunman on bail, without the judge who did so being identified.

Not even 24 hours after burying OPP Const. Greg Pierzchala, who was allegedly shot by a man who had skipped bail on gun charges, a major crime incident occurred in London on Thursday that saw a man in a retail store shot in the chest and his female co-worker hit in the head with a blunt object that sources say was a hammer.

Both victims are in hospital in critical condition.

Another: 22-year-old man arrested for attempted murder while already on release for a separate attempted murder and firearms offences.

  1. Could we not have the perps live next door to the judges that grant bail until their trial? Even better, we could build a small guest cottage in thejudges back yard and the crimin…. Oooops, oppressed and victimized could do yard work and odd jobs for the honourable judge. Seems reasonable to me, since they deemed them safe and after all,the poor guy just needs a chance!

  2. and yet if you shot the guy who was holding a gun and a hammer, you would be in trouble. I guess if we need more cops to die before this changes, then so be it.

    1. If a judge or politician were shot and killed by someone out on bail the law would change in a hurry.

Until the courts are willing to understand that some people shouldn’t get bail, this will continue

  4. But… The gun was banned ??? How could it possibly exist?? This problem has been solved!!! Dear leader has decreed it so!!! Ok, reality reset. Thinking about the real problem would make me a racist and that is bad. Push it back outside the bubble and… there we go – I’m feeling much better now . smiley face

Heh …. how is it then that somebody had one?

The so called ‘journalists’ are at loss for words, so they will just let it pass.

  5. Bail is, on its face crucial to a fair justice system where actually going to trial might involve delays of months or even years. Otherwise innocent folk, wrongly arrested could do more time in jail than a lot of criminals get sentenced to.
That being said, denying bail to repeat offenders might be a start, and actually sentencing some of these folk to real time might help as well

  6. I remember a movie called i believe “The Star Chamber.” It exists today to suppress legitimate dissent rather than clean up criminals who get off scott free. I’m not advocating it, just making a point.
