8. I see the Ukrainian war as another existential battle for the West.

   The West is currently engaged in an existential battle against the global elite who want to spread their luxury beliefs supported by politicians and their bureaucrats who buy our votes with money they print for that purpose. The Western values that built the successful economy that has given us an average comfortable life span of 80 years are everywhere under attack. Wokism, social justice, the great reset, critical theory, climate change driven self-destruction – you name it, are all examples of this that most on this site would agree about. When you think about this, you recall it all started small and grew to the mess we are in now.

   Another attack is the more traditional kind that is occurring in Ukraine. A gang of thieves and thugs, disguised as a country is trying to kill an emerging Western style country. This is being closely watched by another gang of thieves and thugs to their south. These two gangs are not bothered by the luxury beliefs of our elites. They simply want to rule more and more of the world – extracting more and more of its resources for their personal benefit. A west, weakened by the self-destructive policy it is adopting will readily succumb to the thugs and thieves.

   We need to resist. And we are being given the opportunity in Ukraine.
