Some of the usual suspects are shouting a little too loudly that the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario didn’t suggest that unvaccinated people are mentally ill and in need of psychiatric medication. Maybe they did, maybe they didn’t, but what is clear is that over the past 2.5 years, medical associations across the Western World have destroyed their credibility with misleading statements, and outright lies, and their friends in the media, such as Politifact and the Associated Press, have done the same.
Once all of these organizations admit that they have been wrong about most everything around Covid and agree that their actions have helped to hurt, and even kill, millions of people around the world, then we can start a real dialogue. Until then, EVERYTHING they say must be judged through a skeptical lens of Stupid or Liar.

If there will ever be a Mea Culpa for Covid (which I seriously doubt) it will look very similar to the “investigation” of the trucker’s strike actions by the government. It will start with “we’ll get to the bottom of this” and end up with those calling for the mea culpa on the verge of being guilty with the government in the end deciding not to press charges.
If you didn’t do anything wrong (as we’ve all been told by the so-called experts) why would you need “amnesty”?

You guys talk as if the Covid madness is over. Here in my little corner of New England mask wearing is way up, and there’s talk of schools going back to remote classes.
Yesterday the missus and I were going to go to the holiday vespers service at a prep school just down the road before I found out that one had to take a instant test the morning of the concert, have proof of vaccination, AND wear a mask. Yikes. Decided to stay home.
Was at a social gathering Sat evening. Sitting at the kitchen table the conversation drifted from topic to topic, as it often does.
At one point one guy pipes up, notes that there have been 5 deaths in his circle of friends in the last 3 months. I wanted to pursue the details further, but was unable to.
As one of the world’s foremost experts on epidemiology, virology, public health, and Reuben sandwiches*, I can state for a fact that some 78.3% of all the information coming from the government on the Covid pandemic was either entirely wrong or, at best, half-truths. Statistically, you would be better off assuming they were/are wrong about everything rather than the opposite.
*Hey, if anybody can self-identify as an expert and spout misinformation, so can I.
Wrong, holy sh*t it was based on computer models and freaking lies. NOT ONE DAMN WORD WAS TRUE. Fraudulent computer models from the UK were the basis for the entire fraud world wide. I am tired of putting the guys name out, look it up.

Then, to put icing on it, being scolds and lecturing the population that only 20% have taken the bivalent death jab booster.
My theory, Dan, is that the “vaccines” do have something to do with the spike in flu and RSV, because I believe it’s the vax, combined with mask-wearing and lockdowns, that weakened immune systems so dramatically, that the general population simply became far more susceptible to the “tripledemic.” (Yes, the media is now using that word.)
We are of like minds. There’s no doubt in my mind that the bio weapon has suppressed the immune systems of the sheeple.
This is playing out as I suspected earlier this year, that the health of the jabbed will start to decline, especially the jabbed kids.

Yeah Dan, I’m in BC (upper Sunshine coast) as well. My thoughts are that they keep pushing the vax and boosters cuz they have gone to far to back down now, and they know it. If they ever admit they were wrong, they know they’ll be “tarred and feathered” by the public. I’ve not seen any increase of masking in my area yet, we still have the 5% of idiots continually masking when they step outside the house, but they’ve been there from day one!
By “tarred and feathered” I mean doused with a mix of gasoline and urine, and goaded with a cattle prod!
No tar and feather results in a grusome death, which I applaud.
Hot boiling tar similar to roofing tar is poured over said bastardo , which instantly cooks the outer meat much like deep frying chicken, then feathers are smothered over the body making it very hard to treat the open festering wounds due to the clumping of unsanitary feathers stuck to the now solidifying tar.
All die from septic shock or infection.
A very slow and brutal way to expire.

Re people wearing masks; I don’t care if THEY want to wear one as long as they don’t go all holier than thou on me, and expect me to wear one. For all I know they have a cold and don’t want to pass it around (for all the good a mask does…)
I lived on Vancouver Island for 26 years. I moved to the Okanagan last year.
The Island is completely run by Karens and other communists. It’s no longer comfortable for a normal non-commie to feel comfortable on that rock.
It wasn’t like that back in 95 when I moved there, but many more lefties have moved in over the years and now it’s become a politically correct gulag. The entire Island votes NDP provincially and Liberal federally … There are far too many women in power. They don’t get it.
