I haven’t looked at the science behind the article in detail but strongly suspect the usual scam: When Environment Canada says that the Arctic is warming X times faster than the rest of the world they compare Arctic LAND temperatures to the global LAND/OCEAN average. Since land is warming quicker than the oceans, this inflates the number.
This scam also allows the press to report that nearly any place on earth is warming faster than average – an obvious logical fallacy.
