The Truckers’ inquiry exposed seriously dysfunctional police forces. The optics are terrible – a cynic would say that the police leadership choices look like they were “diversity driven.”
I have no way to judge that the top cops were incompetent, given the cards they were dealt. However, it seems that there were “palace revolts” going on and that the troops were not behind the leaders. It’s a tough job for a parachuted in candidate to earn trust within an organization with strong traditional values.
This loss of effectiveness of an organization is the risk you take when merit ceases to be the sole criterion for promotion.
Did Justin’s diversity focus bite him in the ass? They should add this question to the Justice’s mandate!
Sloly was a Toronto cop that was butthurt that he was passed over for TPS chief… and then did a piss poor job in OPS.

I have a different take: The convoy was large, and in their face but peaceful.
Cops and convoyers had a great rapport, according to convoy spokespersons.
So police head honchos were befuddled. Politicians screaming “do something”, but what were they to do when no laws or windows were broken?

Both Oliver and Malone’s recent comments, while well intentioned are quite naive in the extreme. We are supposed to sit back and allow the other side to change the rules of engagement and do nothing because we have right and ethics on our side and right will eventually triumph. Here is a little life lesson, allowing the other side to change the rules of engagement without challenge will ensure defeat. If the b*st*rds that corrupted the American elections, the governments that deny rights of self-defence and the means to ensure those rights, the officials that would mandate experimental injections on an unwilling and uninformed populace are allowed to continue there will be no point in trying to maintain the higher moral ground when the other side is eroding it from underfoot.
I can commiserate with Malone in his endeavour to right his mistake in re-posting inadvertantly a video that used an example to illustrate a sudden death before the injection program began. Why should Malone be placed in that position when the left are allowed to cause more damage by a magnitude of millions for what they have caused and yet are never called to account? A very different set of rules of engagement that we allow ourselves to be dictated to. The Left tell us we have to maintain our adherence to ethics and truth while they indulge in every underhanded, criminal, immoral, corrupt practice that mankind has devised.
As for Oliver’s solution, just withdraw from society! Right, that will work. If we all just get together and say “Enough is enough, we’re not going to take this Shyte anymore, so you Guys better clean up your act or you’ll be sorry!” Think that is going to work, think again. The PTB (Powers That Be) are not going to relent their position because of a nation wide general strike because we all refuse to submit to unjustified rules, regulations, mandates and unjust laws applied by corrupt and criminal officials and politicians. No they will crack down on a select few and that action will keep them in power. Want an example look to NAZI Germany, want a more recent example look to the January 6th. protest, or how about something a little closer to home, the Great Canadian Truckers Convoy!
If we don’t learn the new rules of engagement being foisted upon us by the Left (Liberals and Democrats) and adapt accordingly then we’re destined to take truth and ethics with us into the dustbin of history!

“Hostile or hesitant toward the vaccine” at single digits is NOT a good thing. How can a country of idiots expect to have anything other than a government of fools, bandits, and rogues?

I live in a rural conservative riding in SW Ontario. Neighbours are the salt of the earth, nose to the grindstone, shirt of their backs… They have bought into the fear. They get endless propaganda on country radio. They got their boosters to protect grandma. One caught the covid cuz one day he went to the store without his mask. One’s now developed blood clots in both legs. It’s depressing to see all the branch covidians out there…nice people mind you. So can you believe that 50% got boosted with a third jab…when people weren’t coerced to get the 3rd jab for employment or travel?

To me what he is saying makes a lot of sense. There is talk of another convoy in February. I see a lot of downside and risk for anyone participating. The only reason (one not addressed while claiming economic harm) the emergency act was so quickly ended was what amounted to a run on the banks after accounts were frozen. Removing funds on mass from banks on mass is a powerful tool and it gives no lever for punishment. There is little to lose by doing it and you will have what money you do manage to withdraw. Could it accelerate a move to digital- possibly- but that is coming anyway. It’s only a downside if you believe the conversion is going to benefit your situation, which I find highly unlikely. I believe the phone lines were pretty hot between our overlords and bankers when faced with the possible outcome and perceptions after they froze the accounts. I realize under legislation that they can give you bank stock instead of your money. So why wait. Secure your money as best you can. I have no reason to believe Trudeau won’t be dictating after the next election unless we find a way to destroy them and if they are in power until 2030 there will be nothing to save or separate.
