  1. 85% of Vancouverites are lefty toads.

DO NOT LINK to anything about those Toads.

And don’t buy one goddamn thing made or processed in Quebec, especially their commie cheese.

    1. My old dear departed Mom boycotted quebek all her life. I do as well.

It’s difficult to avoid quebekkie altogether as they are clever at labeling products as, Made in Canada. They also control a lot of the industrial dairy market like butter, offered in a plain yellow cover.

      Be vigilant my friends.

    2. Fred Z:

I’ve lived in Vancouver for 40+ years. Proud to be among the 15% non-lefty-toads. But I think 15% is a bit high.

Our new mayor — the first Chinese mayor — is alleged to be slightly right. Probably, given that Stalin is centre.

    3. Since agriculture is constitutionally a provincial responsibility and milk is an agricultural product, why can’t Premier Smith withdraw from the Canadian Milk Board and ban imports of Quebec milk? Why can a policy that hurts Alberta ranchers be acceptable and a policy that hurts Quebec farmers be unacceptable? And best of all it gives Trudeau another problem and if she announces it in Chinese he will surrender immediately.

    1. I would surmise it’s mostly for upgraded security.
The Proles are starting to get restless and Le Turd doesn’t want to repeat what happened to the Romanian leader, occurring to him.

    2. Much better to tear it down and build somrthing suitable. A chance to showcase Canadian architectural talents.

  2. If you ever needed to know how monumentally retarded and insane russia is:

“Yevgeny Prigozhin, the head of the notorious Wagner mercenary group, says that he is not currently recruiting anally raped prisoners but wants to create a separate “cock division” to ensure that other convict soldiers do not have to serve with such untouchable outcasts.”

    1. Ukraine N@zis arrested in Italy planning attack.

      https://youtu.be/x4ZlgYJJX3M

I’m willing to bet that if they succeeded in their attack, Saint Elenskyyy would have blamed Pooooooooooootin! and called for NATO to commence nuclear war.

      1. And you both must be wondering why I stay neutral.

Because I don’t like Putin, but I don’t care much for Zelensky either. One is a fascist, the other an authoritarian. I’ll let you guys figure out which is which.

        1. I am not wondering why are you staying neutral. You’re wrong as far as I am concerned. It is not about Zelensky is is about ordinary men and women fighting to preserve their families, their homes and their way of living from the drunken rapist horde.

Besides being authoritarian while defending a country from annihilation is usually a necessity. Pinochet was authoritarian, Franco was authoritarian they were the good guys.

          1. The comparison fails. Pinochet and Franco were conservatives who espoused conservative values incl. traditional cultural values and on that basis opposed the “ungodly” communists.

The coke-head-in-chief is an authoritarian who enshrines degeneracy of the woke progressive left. The degeneracy holds a certain appeal to the NAZIs of old and of today.

The Kremlin doesn’t fly the rainbow flag. Pootin has openly ridiculed the west for its degeneracy. And so the LGBTQ+ standard bearers have answered the rallying call against Pootin.

But still Pootin falls short of being a Franco or Pinochet. A failing of the Russian system is that Russia doesn’t have an authoritarian one man rule.

        2. You may not be interested in nuclear war, but nuclear war is interested in you.

That rock you live under won’t protect you.

          1. I can’t say if his being Jewish has any bearing on the goings on in the Ukraine. Same can be said about the Nuland clan and other neo-cons.

As far as those levelling accusations of anti-semitism, if they also called out the dehumanization of ethnic slaves, i.e. Russians, here on SDA, they would have some credibility.

Silly me took “never again” to apply to all ethnicities not just Jews. And so I thought the dehumanizing demagougery that leads to cleansings as history shows, must be denounced regardless of who it is directed against . Silly me.

          2. “…if they also called out the dehumanization of ethnic slaves, i.e. Russians,…”

None is dehumanizing Slavs, orcs are Mongols not Slavs, who have been dehumanizing Slavs for centuries.
            Thank you for calling.

        3. Ah yes you’ve bought the “both sides are bad” narrative. The Kremlin is pleased their propaganda is working.

          1. “Ah yes you’ve bought the “both sides are bad” narrative. The Kremlin is pleased their propaganda is working.”

Oh, I get it now: because one side is bad the other must automatically be good.

(also explains your unqualified support for US Democrats and their deception and fraud…)

          2. No the other side is good because they are men and women defending their homes, their families and their way of life, against a horde of mental slaves whipped by its masters into submission.

    2. It’s October 1962. The tables are turned. The US is staring down a hostile puppet regime on its border. Only Cuba didn’t shell Florida for eight years killing thousands of its citizens. And instead of acting like an infantile clown, Castro stayed out of the scenario. But this was a time when men were men and not coke addicted latent homosexuals like Saint Elenskyyy who was hired by his puppet masters only for his acting skills.

      https://youtu.be/IyArUh8eqJ0

      1. “And instead of acting like an infantile clown, Castro stayed out of the scenario.”
The “infantile clown” bit must have skipped a generation.

    3. So none of the broshevicks wants to discuss the Backdoor Rider battalion which is to be formed exclusively of the untouchable stigmatized … victims of anal rape?

  3. Nice work.

However, it is sad to see what has become of Vancouver the city. A never-ending swath of ugly unwanted high-rises and high-density Globalism. It is still geographically beautiful, but Globalism and corrupt authoritarian Globalist politicians have ravaged the city and the Province.

To me, Vancouver is now almost unrecognizable to the city that I grew up in.
The culture and atmosphere of the city has been lost forever. Too bad, because it was a wonderful place.

    Nice drone footage though. Spectacular.

    1. “To me, Vancouver is now almost unrecognizable to the city that I grew up in.
The culture and atmosphere of the city has been lost forever. Too bad, because it was a wonderful place.”

      It was, once.

I stopped voting in the Vancouver city elections about 20 years ago (maybe more) when it became apparent to me that I only ever had the choice of voting for the left-wing guy, the other left-wing guy or the communist. I did finally get and and vote this time, though, because Ken Sim seemed to be the only person who could beat the hapless, woke PC puppet Kennedy Stewart. a guy who did nothing for me but make driving/parking more difficult, lunches more expensive and shopping less convenient.

  4. So, having a more than passing familiarity with the female body and, admittedly, having my mind in the gutter on a regular basis, I must confess that these Paris Games mascots in no way, shape or form, reminded me of female genitalia…

Paris Games mascot mocked for resembling female genitalia

    1. Win-Win

“Others wondered about associating fun-loving mascots with a bloody episode in history when tens of thousands of people were guillotined. Social and mainstream media then latched on to the way the red triangular design of the Phryges resembles an anatomical rendering of the clitoris.”

I’m having trouble with “lost $131 billion”

183 companies, that’s an average loss of approximately $715 million.

Perhaps it’s so called stock losses? By this I mean I buy a million shares at an initial offering of $10/share. Stock rises to $20/share.

      Stock drops to $12/share.

A reporter phones me and asks “how’s it feel to have lost $8 million?”

But I’m still up $2 million (but only if I sell)

      1. joe:

Head scratcher, idn’t it? Could also be how some entities often do things, based on projections.

Similar to your example, make a prediction of financial performance, fall short of said prediction & declare the difference a “loss”. How making only, say, 20% instead of 25% can be construed as a loss is beyond me. Guess ya gotta be an economist.

        1. DB

Puzzlement aside, thanks for posting the story. I gave up smoking weed 40 years ago, but I’m amazed at how many cannabis stores there are, and how many have shut down.

My brother, clean and sober 20 plus years, knows lots of people who still use their illicit suppliers.

So perhaps the thrust of the article is correct (lots of real losses) but the dollar amount is just media click bait.

          1. You’re welcome.

Have a handful of friends who smoke & make their own edibles, I don’t know of a single one who buys Trudope. A buddy’s daughter owns a pot store in a rural area near Calgary, apparently she’s doing really well. Interestingly, she says Hutterites are some of her best customers.

I guess the main point of the article for me is that anything the gov’t touches goes to shit.

        2. “Head scratcher, idn’t it? Could also be how some entities often do things, based on projections.”

That’s a old scam, that one. ‘Project’ that you are going to make 20 million dollars, then when you only make 15 you can whine about a 5 million dollar loss. No, you LOST nothing, liars…you MADE 15 million.

          1. Exactly, Fred. Then, after whining about the loss you can go walking around with your hand out, looking for someone to top it up.

  5. Those damn Prog election deniers!

      1. Yeah, there’s 4 or 5 stories knocking the left that were saved until after the election. Not curious at all.

Daley’s I’d heard of. Johnson’s is new. Interesting.

        1. DB

When I was working I picked up a book on LBJ in the Houston Airport. It covered his career before becoming President.

Covered Johnson’s election machinations. Also how he managed to get a lot of legislation passed. I don’t know if there was been a more successful Senator or VP at getting legislation passed.

  6. How about those 90 dead doctors in Canada since the “covid” shots started. Does anyone really give a damn?

    1. No they don’t VOWG.

I wonder what the Families of these Doctors believe… do they really believe they just dropped dead for no reason?

This story is a bigger story then the attention that it recieves, which is none.
The narrative is more important than the lives of these Doctors who were forced into a medical experiment by the Government that killed them.
The narrative survives, the Doctors are dead.
Ugly country we live in… evil.

    1. I still don’t get why anyone with two brain cells to rub together uses Gaggle search, email, anything. I haven’t used them for close to 20 years. I used to use Starting Page, then moved on to DDG. When it became apparent they have issues as well, I moved on to Qwant and Yandex. I find the former better.

      1. “I still don’t get why anyone with two brain cells to rub together uses Gaggle search, email, anything. ”

Even Bing is better than Google search (not perfect, but definitely less *overtly* biased). Google search something like climate change, vaccine reactions or election fraud, then do exactly the same search on Bing. It’s an eye-opener.

    1. I hope all those Democrat Senators and Congressional Representatives are diligently taking the COVID shot, every two months, as recommended by the CDC.

    https://pjmedia.com/news-and-politics/benbartee/2022/11/17/the-corporate-medias-sick-jihad-against-vitamin-d-n1646701

    Why?

“The anti-vitamin D jihad is inexplicable unless you understand the financial incentives of the various actors.

Vitamin D is unpatentable. Thus it serves none of the interests that dominate the political and economic space, which are functionally one and the same.”

    Bold mine.

    1. May not that “phase down” but a slightly slower “phase down”.
Maybe a slower indirectly engineered “phase down” in light of the AB and SK to-hell-with-that rumblings.
