  1. Justin Trudeau shut down parliament and isolated himself in Rideau Cottage during the pandemic. He was afraid he might get COVID, a disease which primarily killed those over 70 who had co-morbidities. All his meetings and Parliament were via video (Zoom or equivalent).

Let’s give Justin no criticism for this (please bear with me).

Justin says climate change is an ‘existential crisis’. In other words if we do nothing humanity will disappear.

Given Justin’s fear of COVID, where Justin took personal action, you’d think for something Justin says will kill us all, he’d stop flying and attend all these conferences via Zoom call.

Conclusion? Even Justin knows it’s not real. It’s about wealth redistribution (except his).

    1. Joe
Your analytical skills are something you should bestow on a few in here! As they have no clue as how to gauge things.

  2. Wasn’t the initial gift to the Turdfest Foundation $125 million?

With so many irons in the fire, it’s difficult to keep up with his success.

However, Joe’s assessment is correct, imho.

Justin would steal the pennies from a dead man’s eyes.

  3. “”I think it’s important when you think of electricity, you think of it as a system,” said Pollution Probe’s Carlson, who is a strong advocate of creating regional and national grids to share power from where it is being produced to where it is needed.”

Because we don’t have regional and national grids now…

/why are so call “experts” such morons

  4. So the CBC and Historica Canada is going to do a Heritage Minute for an American, born in Nashville Tennesee who had only one “hit”?

Hell, we have enough Canadians musicians who were one hit wonders we could be highlighting!

  5. Regarding the nuclear is bad, I listened to that conversation … a psychologist promoting non-existent battery technology versus some guy with a “new” unproven nuclear technology. It wasn’t even about the cost effectiveness of existing nuclear power. CBC is unwatchable and unlistenable misleading drivel.

  6. “With wind and solar dirt cheap, why are we investing so much in costly nuclear?

If your oh-so-cheap power source requires the entire fossil/nuclear generation system as a backup, you’ve just increased the cost of the fossil/nuclear generation system.

Would love to see the same lifetime accounting that’s applied to nuclear applied to solar/wind too.

    1. Who cares what nuclear/fossil costs.
If its humanity’s existence vs. price , screw the price , we come first.
Use what works best and is stable.
      Thats nukes and fossil.
Use it all up to keep the species alive.
In the interm , crack the fusion nut.

  7. The banks don’t believe in the global warming scam. You can still get a 30 year mortgage on an ocean front property in Miami.

They just play along because they make out like bandits supporting the scam.

  8. Nuclear Energy

This comment by a CBC Designated “EXPERT” illustrates the abject IGNORANCE of far far too many…(yea, I know, it’s Canada)

“…”New nuclear energy builds will cost much more than renewable builds with storage,” said Susan O’Donnell…”

LMAO at that statement. Yes initial costs are significantly higher.
But, Ms. CBC EXPERT, Can Wind/Solar provide BASE LOAD POWER.?? NO

Do Nuclear plants Kill Bats and other Birds.? NO
Do Nuclear plants require Vast Sections of otherwise arable land.? NO
And uh, Is there any Viable Storage system available for renewables..? NO

Heres another CBC “EXPERT”. Ryan Katz-Rosene, an associate political studies professor at the University of Ottawa. Now WTF would this clown actually know about anything to do with energy production..?

EXPERT in this and any other Liberal “approved” Energy discussion is anyone that doesn’t know shit from shinola about the subject matter while kissing Liberal (_i_), as clearly shown in this garbage CBC article.

And as we all know, Climate Change has squat to do with Climate and everything to do with the destruction of Western Hemisphere Civilization.

    Next…?

  9. With respect to the eco warriors (this time in Italy, previously in the UK), I think motorists should carry a wood baseball bat in their trunk and go “Ray Donovan” on the eco-warriors’ heads!

  10. Some day, some way, somewhere.

Every “journalist” in Canada will look in the mirror and realize/remember they spent their lives LYING to their fellow citizens so that the wealthy and powerful could get more so.

    Nothing lower.

    Nothing worse.

The Judases of the day, morally inhabiting the same perverted purlieus as pimps and pedophiles.

    The karma shall be fierce.

  11. He said the reason Alberta and Saskatchewan continue to support the nuclear plan is because using nuclear energy in the process of extracting fossil fuels is “to kind of dress it up as somehow being more green.”

That’s because it is you colossal dunce. But don’t take my word for it, take it up with the UN who declared last year that nuclear has lower carbon emissions even when compared to your seemingly hidebound wind and solar.
Zero emissions… small footprint…minimal waste and best of all “Uyghur slave labour free. I dunno, sounds pretty green to me.
Just come out and say it: You’d like everyone to freeze and starve in the dark.

  12. Remember when people thought the “Courts” would protect them, that we were a country of laws with Constitutional protections and even though our Politicians and the whole political class and their shitstained Media were openly and aggressively corrupt that we still had the “Courts” and the glorious Charter to save us from these Globalist criminals, the “Courts” would uphold the principles of freedom and basic human rights, remember that?

    That was funny.

Who says fascists don’t have a sense of humor… you can’t question the Globalist “vaccine” narrative and you can’t fight back when you’re attacked for trying to or you will be punitively punished by a vindictive political hack disguised as a, “Judge”.

  13. Regarding the first link, I noticed Don Pittis’ bio “Previously, he was ……. a ranger in Canada’s High Arctic Islands….” I highly doubt that. The rangers are Inuit or Dene to a man and members of the Canadian Armed Forces. The only white people in the communities on Baffin Island are RCMP officers and the odd nurse or teacher on a year long contract. Comments have been closed because the majority of commenters disagreed, using fact and logic, with Mr Pittis’ opinion.

Please Mr. Polievre, first chance you get, cut off all funding for the CBC and the rest of the lamestream media.
