I guess if the colleague’s kid has an adverse reaction and bites the dust, they won’t get the chance to join the mad fad of mutilating their genitals.
I had some sympathy and tolerance for the fear of covid and the faith in vaccines in the early days but not now.
It’s just a sign of stupidity to believe that the vaccines are safe or needed for children. Or anyone.
We didn’t know a lot back then, we know a lot more now about the lack of safety and effectiveness of the vaccines and the actual dangers of covid to kids.
Most people, even “educated” people, are ignorant children, happy to do whatever somebody tells them to do, as long as they can feel good about it right now.
