    1. Love it, NEO. Maybe even coat them with Gorilla Glue or Crazy Glue to add to the effect, and don’t ever help ’em off. Call it Performance Art.
      If they manage to tear enough skin off to break free, let them walk to the nearest hospital. Cuz ambulances are eeevil.

      However careful thought and consideration is quite necessary before removing them.

      First remove the paintings from their immediate area, only because it would be cruel to force them to be in the vicinity of a Van Gogth, we know they wouldn’t harm the art, so that is not the reason for removal, and then construct a chainlink cage around them (I would also suggest placing of them each waist deep in plastic garbage bags to contain any embarrassing discharges.) for their protection, of course.

      In so far a many glue removers may well contain substances that are known to be cancerous, a museum board meeting need be called to review all removal possibilities to assure the youngsters safety. As I am sure said board members have busy schedules it might take days, even weeks to arrange said reading.

      I know, I know, it might be weeks, months, before the board reviews each and every kids glued to walls removal method, but such should, and must be done as their health and safety is number one priority!

The kids who have been nurtured into Friday afternoon climate activists from the finest schools of propaganda masquerading as green theocracy are the love children of the descendants of the Inquisition and the Hitler youth. They should live somewhere where they could demonstrate their utopian dreams completely free from all petroleum and petroleum derived (and fossil fuel) products. Lord of the Flies anyone?

      1. In the clip I saw, they wore coats until they got to the targeted painting, then divested themselves of said coats immediately prior to starting their vandalism, only then revealing their true nuttiness.

        I suppose using flamethrowers on them is out of the question here? Oh well…

    What will it take for the flippin police to do their jobs, instead of having a double standard? Left wing causes – they stand around, because the protesters have such commendable “feewings”, or some special dispensation to break the law.

I really wonder what stupidity we have created when these idiots seems to be hell bent on being part of some extreme movement against the oil industries while wearing clothing that is petroleum based. And how is any of this Van Gogh’s fault… or the oddly yellow soups for that matter. With children dying in countries from starvation I think they should rethink their crimes of food misuse.

    What a horrible angle to go about gluing yourself to a wall…that being said I can’t wait until someone has to go pee 🙂 That should get damn uncomfortable after the first 5 min.
    Go get a saw and send them to jail with a chunk of plaster on their palms.

  11. Why are they not identified as domestic terrorists, have their leaders thrown in prison, have the individual donors to their cause identified and cancelled by the banks, and then reported to the police so the donors can be interviewed? That seemed to have worked for the Trucker Protesters.

  13. Okay, I’ll bite: what exactly does Van Gogh, that particular painting or the National Gallery have to do with the production of oil?

  14. I think it’s time to give them a taste of their own medicine. Drench them in tomato soup, but make sure it’s good and hot. First glue them to the floor with your own powerful adhesive, then pour. As for the ones that block traffic, pulling them to the side doesn’t do any good. The slugs just crawl back to their blocking positions. The need to be pulled to the side and zip tied there so they can’t crawl back.
    The other thing to do is make sure that their professors and universities pay for the cleaning up of their messes.

    1. Me, I favour using steamrollers for road blockers… Lessons must be public and painful, and effective.

Someone in Britain should get together a dozen or so people to go to the homes of the “Stop Oil” fanatics and help them in divesting themselves of all oil based and petrochemical products. They will be doing all of those dedicated progressive protesters a favor by assisting them in their moral stand by getting rid of all those nasty petrochemicals. Ridding those far thinking activists of their cars, bicycles, and every product that uses synthetic rubber; any synthetic fabric clothes, carpets, rugs, bedding, and furniture. There are also plastic utensils like toothbrushes, juice and milk containers, and food storage containers.

    Don’t forget the other evil petrochemical energy using products like cars, refrigerators, stoves, water heaters, furnaces, and microwaves.

    Help them realize an oil free today and they can lead Britain to a wonderful tomorrow!

  16. It is getting towards fall. Next time they protest in the streets? Help them out. Pour a bucket of glue on them. Then pour a bucket or two of water on them. Block off the area, and come back the next day.

    Alternately, one could observe a vast emptiness where whatever movement that opposes what they do, did not do anything equivalent to push their agenda. No push back to these rent seekers, eh? Nobody showing up to riot, eh?

    Graffitti is always illegible, poop letters, menacing, and Bolshevik. The argument goes like this: since the graffiti I see every time when I walk through the park is illegible poop font menace, then the poop font position must be the majority opinion. It is not. Just that the cons do not graffiti, and they do not riot.

    As well, The Gestapo does have a proven record of bias. Simply compare the judicial treatment of Tamara Lich with the latest Winnipeg Slasher. The Bolshevik activists know this. You know it too. These two are going to get a heroes welcome when they get out of the pokey; there will be bragging on social media, and the accessories before/after the fact will get secondary adoration. Yup.

  18. This apparently was Van Gogh’s favourite painting. He painted it during a very optimistic period in his life, which was rare. And these two idiots come along and desecrate it over a lie. This “climate change” rhetoric has been pumped into their skulls since they were very young, by left wing pigs who couldn’t give a flying crap about the damage their sick ideology will cause. This painting, due to its extreme importance, will be repaired. It will of course cost thousands of dollars to restore it. I pray that these two brainwashed geniuses will be forced to foot the bill.

  22. Isn’t there something called museum glass used to protect these pieces? I learned about it while viewing “The Massacre of the Innocents” at the AGO several years ago. If not, then the painting is a fake. There is no way this priceless artwork is unprotected in the National Gallery. As soon as those nutjobs crossed the rope barrier, security should have been on them. They sure had a lot of time to glue themselves to the wall after throwing the soup. One of the vandals calls herself Ziggy Stardyke. Be nice if she joined Bowie about now.
