If Hunter is convicted, I think Joe Biden will pardon Hunter, even if he’d killed someone.
So… if the “justice dept” holds off long enough on charging Hunter, there’s a good chance Joe will be removed from office prior to being able to pardon Hunter. I don’t think Hunter can be pardoned prior to being convicted.
Though it’d be nice to go into an election with the President’s son up on a variety of charges too, with the current state of the US’s MSM I’m not certain it would be as productive as some think it would…
Patience can be a friend, there’ll be a new sheriff soon, and then they can look into payments made to “the big guy”.
Marc – That’s the most optimistic thing I’ve ever heard. Are you loading up on stocks right now in the face of certain doom? It’s an interesting theory but I don’t think the USDOJ or whomever needs to act, is holding back because they want to maximize the penalties against Hunter after Biden has left office. I do hope you’re right and I’m wrong though.

When I was in Venezuela for Mr. Chavez’ election there were thousands of citizens registered to vote who were all born on the first of each month, and were 120-160 years old. So I wouldn’t have a competition between the two at this point…
No doubt the GOP is scheming to have the charges made most sticky too. A process not likely to succeed until after the impeachment process has ended.

I have said this before, but I really believe that Hunter is a bit of a sacrificial goat (Could not bring myself to call him a lamb).
They found some charges that DON’T implicate the Big Guy, and they will run with those, giving Hunter a slap on the wrist.
Then when anyone tries to bring up the many (much more important) evidences from the laptop and Hunter’s business associates that excoriate Big Joe, the dems and media (one and the same) can just laugh it off and say, “Yesterday’s news. Hunter has been dealt with. Nothing to see here.”
This is about appearing to deal with the small stuff in order to avoid dealing with the big stuff.
Or the Small Guy in order to shelter the Big Guy.
Sounds pretty accurate to me. I’m reminded of Hillary screeching, “At this point, what difference does it make?”
The FBI/DOJ has not sat on this case without charging Hunter (and Joe) for months, they have sat on it for years.
Remember 2020, when every corrupt liberal mouthpiece declared that the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian misinformation? That was 2 years ago.

Any one that believes anything bad will happen to Hunter is, and I say this with the utmost of respect. a raving lunatic. If he is charged, then he will immediately be issued a pre-emptive pardon, all charges will be dismissed, all of the evidence will be literally destroyed, and he will walk with no constraints on his citizen’s rights. And the agents that participated in the setup will be dispatched to some backwater hell hole of an embassy FBI remote office, never to see their families or home until they retire.
