The Sound Of Settled Science

Google stopped functioning as a search engine years ago. Good to see someone is finally admitting it.

Melissa Fleming, Under-Secretary for Global Communications at the United Nations at WEF ‘Disinformation’ event: “We partnered with Google,” said Fleming, adding, “for example, if you Google ‘climate change,’ you will, at the top of your search, you will get all kinds of UN resources. We started this partnership when we were shocked to see that when we Googled ‘climate change,’ we were getting incredibly distorted information right at the top. So we’re becoming much more proactive. We own the science, and we think that the world should know it, and the platforms themselves also do.”

During the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) Sustainable Development Impact Meetings last week, the unelected globalists held a panel on “Tackling Disinformation” where participants from the UN, CNN, and Brown University discussed how to best control narratives.

      1. Yeah, I wondered why you never see her and Ardern together! Is Jan Ardern moonlighting, or is it… SOMETHING ELSE…?

    1. That is certainly a remarkable statement. I suppose that is why the UN consider themselves to be the High Priests of Climate Nuttery.
It would be far more accurate to say they own the lies.

      1. They’re still hoping for that $122 trillion: “Why think of the underage refugee hookers we could buy with that kind of money!”

  1. You cant censor your way out of disastrous policies.. I expect we have nowhere left to go except the police state.. It really is a shame to watch all our checks and balances fall to such a small group of people.. Coups come from the upper class.. Revolutions come from the lower.. Coups are often bloodless.. Revolutions are not.. Its important to understand that El Presidente (our elected leaders) are not calling the shots anymore.. The generals (business leaders) are..

The entire western world is a banana republic.. What that means is our laws are a joke.. Literally..

  2. Yeah, if you want search results, DuckDuckGo isn’t bad, but for deep diving, I’m a fan of MillionShort myself.

Google’s like Wikipedia. Great idea to start, now irredeemably compromised. If you must use it, ignore the first couple of pages (minimum!) of results. It’s all long-tail searches now.

The same is true of eBay and Amazon searches, too — stupid amounts of “results” you don’t want with some directly-related results scattered insouciantly throughout so you won’t become too discouraged . . .

  3. Richard Feynman, “For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for nature cannot be fooled”

I think of this in any argument of global warming or change. It helps. The people who argue that climate change is real, generally don’t like it.

  4. “Google stopped functioning as a search engine years ago”. Excellent summation. Simply a propaganda machine now, and has grown exponentially worse over the last decade.

80% of the populations “research” is page 1 google results, unfortunately.

  5. I was going to snarc about the “intimate” tone that you reported, but she actually is bragging about buying the top slots in the Google search results. (1) That is why I stopped using that search engine, (2) The Bimbo actually seems proud of the manipulation of Internet search results to hide reality that disagrees with the “Party” line. I guess that she will get her “Dumb, but a True Believer” service ribbon for her diaper.

You know that they do things like that, but it takes a special kind of stupid to brag about it in an interview.
