They knew it too. All of the previously established protocols for how to properly handle a pandemic were thrown out the window for Covid-19. All of the decades worth of sober, well thought out, peer reviewed planning…. erased in an instant and replaced with knee jerk, fear based, profit driven agendas. It was horrifying to witness worldwide corruption at the expense of human lives blossoming in real-time.

I think the most serious consequence of the lockdown and their over the top enforcement is the destruction of national trust and pride.
There are a lot of folks there who are disgusted, not by their government but by their nations behaviour. It shakes ones patriotism and faith in civilization to discover that we are a bad flu away from totalitarianism. It shakes it even more to see how many of our countrymen were willing participants in it .
About that..I got a 4000 dollar tv and a five dollar a hour raise.. As well as not missing a single pay cheque.. Understand?.. Not everybody suffered financially under covid.. I still hate them though..
Just like the rest of the world , excess deaths are running 20%+ above normal in Australia. Doctors and politicians are apparently mystified. Well maybe just the Doctors, some of them. The politicians just pretend its not there.
