“Following further evaluation this morning, the Queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision,” a statement said.

“The Queen remains comfortable and at Balmoral.”

Prince Charles has travelled to Balmoral with the Duchess of Cornwall.

The Duke of Cambridge is on his way to the Scottish estate, about 40 miles (64km) west of Aberdeen.

The announcement comes after the Queen, 96, pulled out of a meeting of her Privy Council on Wednesday, with doctors advising her to rest.

Concern: All the Queen’s children are either at or travelling to Balmoral, says our Royal Correspondent Jonny Dymond.

    It certainly sounds like the end is approaching, perhaps quickly, given the reports of her family rushing to her side.

    It’s been not quite 18 months since Philip passed. This is not unexpected. I kind of figured that was about as far as she’d make it. When you reach that advanced age, and your spouse goes, you’re not typically long following them into the hereafter.

    2. Steak, I have zero zeal for the monarchy, and also zero for the monarch herself. But yes, prince Chucky is a WEF nut job who is next in line, and no, he won’t allow a skip over to his son, he’s way too narcissistic to allow that to happen.
      So, when Chucky does take over, we’ll see an even bigger WEF push. That is what I have big concerns about!

        I really don’t see any purpose for monarchy, however, much respect for this dear Lady as an example of class and intelligence.
        Diana was ahead of her time with class, a sense of the real world and personal appeal. Too bad she and Mother clashed.

    And yet I join virtually the entire world in praying that she remain with us as long as possible, without suffering.

Royalty defines the very term “elitist”, and the last thing mankind now needs is yet another influential institutional pulpit for the next generation of woke/ecotarded/globalist zealots to preach from. Her ‘descendants’ are a frigging nightmare.

    That said, I wish Queen Elizabeth the best and hope that this is NOT the end for a very classy lady.

The elitist types wanted the Governor-General-cum-President to be appointed by the P.M. and the deplorables wanted the position to be directly elected. So the Monarchists won with ca. 40% support because the republicans were split ca. 30-30 IIRC.

  17. We have her portrait (borrowed decades before my birth from a local hockey barn) hanging in the boathouse at the cottage so I’ve long had a soft spot for the old girl. R.I.P you served em well.

    1. I know that it’s customary, when a monarch dies, to say (referring to the successor) long live the king. But in this case I just can’t. I won’t wish death on him, but neither will I wish him long life.

  19. I have dragged out my portrait of the Queen by Annigoni (check it out, it is the best portrait). She is the only Royal I have lived under, and I refuse to accept or respect Prince Charles and his concubine.
    I am now a Republican unless the Royals skip a generation and install Price William.

    1. I don’t know about Prince William, but Queen Elizabeth, the second of her name, has left shoes likely impossible to fill; and certainly not by any member of the house of Windsor… So, move over on that republican bench; we’ll need lots more room there now.
