  1. In Uvalde Texas the sheriff was fired today – 90 days after the school shooting in his town.

In Canada we’re trying to figure out what the rcmp did over 2 years ago when a gunman killed 21 innocent civilians. Nobody is held to account. Nobody has been fired.
The head of the rcmp insists she is not culpable and bears no responsibility. Many of those on duty that night and the next day have been promoted.

Which system looks like it’s working?

What a bloody embarrassment this country and the rcmp are.

    1. Brenda Lucki should fall on her sword, it’s the decent thing to do. People and one poor soul in utero died.

    2. It appeared as though he was fired by the school board. I thought that was odd.

      1. He was the “Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District (UCISD) police chief”

Not the Uvalde County Sheriff, or Uvalde City Police Chief. These are separate law enforcement bodies.

        1. His job was to keep the school safe and secure. The cops stood by for 77 minutes without securing the school while 21 students and faculty were killed.

In NS the rcmp stood down over 2 days. Never notified the public of an active shooter or solicited the help of local police forces.

THE NEXT DAY the shooter picked up where he left off killing innocent civilians.

The actions of the rcmp are indefensible. How many more of these blunders will Canadian’s be forced to endure before somebody in the chain of command is held to account? Nobody is ever responsible -except in Uvalde TX.

      1. The person who claims to champion free speech is one of the MPs who pushed to revoke the broadcasting license of RT. How can we trust that he will protect free speech? If he will shutdown information sources that do not agree with his narrative

        1. 1. Apply to the enemy the ROE they have applied to you. Simple as that. no amount of pearl clutching will change that either.

          2. It does not matter how s***t Canadian MSM is, it is not for ocs to judge.

P.S. Just out of curiosity are you familiar with the notion of a paragraph?

      2. Colonialista is so passionate about free speech that Colonialista will selflessly audit it for you in advance to ensure you are not getting unfree speech.

Well done Colonialista. It takes a lot of courage to delete opinions the world shouldn’t agree with, but needs to be done.

        1. Nope I’ll just ban enemy state propaganda outlets. Foreign policy is one of a few reasons to have a government in the first place.

      3. No. It’s censorship. PP should not have been leading the charge on this one. I can’t imagine that his supporters were pushing for such censorship.

      4. Excuse me Mr. Colonialista, but I will decide what is and isn’t propaganda. Not PP, and certainly not you.

        1. Oh absolutely. But the government will decide which assets of a hostile foreign power will be allowed into the country. Like I said above, foreign policy is one of a few legitimate reasons for government to exist in the first place.

    2. RT is a government mouth piece. Only individuals have rights not governments, so no free speech for Ivan here.

  2. Just found out our vaccinated daughter had a miscarriage. Stuff is starting to get ‘close to home’. May be a rather bewildering time ahead for many.

  3. Right side of my mouth: “I hate the WEF Globohomo corporate media. They lie about everything!”

Left side of my mouth: “I believe everything the WEF Globohomo corporate media says about Ukraine! Where else do you think I get my talking points to parrot here incessantly?”

    See any problem with this?

  4. The newest Supreme Court Justice Michelle O’Bonsawin opines by saying that the high rate of aboriginal incarceration has to do with the “legacy of colonialism and systemic racism”:
    https://www.thelawyersdaily.ca/articles/21097/access-to-justice-gladue-reports-we-all-have-role-to-play-michelle-o-bonsawin

Note that she was asked to write this article by former Supreme Court Justice Beverely McLachlin — now a justice for the Final Court of Appeal in Hong Kong, a totalitarian-run province of China.

  5. re: The Princess Bride…I always viewed this movie as a ‘test’ question for potential girlfriends (spouses). “Do you love The Princess Bride?” If she said no, she’s outta the running. (My better half of now-over-21 years loves it.)

Just a charming, sweet, funny/silly movie; delightful.

    1. Agree with you Theyouk. Introduced it to my grandkids a few weeks ago and they have watched it many times since. Convinced their father to do the marriage scene at his sister’s wedding. I would say that 90% of those in attendance knew exactly what that was about – brought the house down 🙂

    1. Morneau campaigning for that job was a diversionary move. He got fired by the Bong and needed some cover.

When was the last time a Minister of Finance was fired? Morneau had no intention of wanting the job. It was all a coverup to save everyone the embarrassment of the rift between him and Bongo.

    1. At least Canada’s Doktor Mengele wannabes are polite to their victims when they murder them. For now.
