  1. Not surprised in the least.
The time, energy and tax dollars they spent going after Michael Flynn only because he vouched for a woman (Robyn Gritz) because she accused McCabe of sexual discrimination illustrates precisely that there’s never a bridge too far for them.
If it wasn’t for Trump, Flynn would be in jail right now and they’d be high fiving each other.

  2. The underlying severity of these actions is not even mentioned. There are citizens out there who were the recipients of these false affidavits (inclusive of the expense, inconvenience, and liberty it pervades). There are citizens out there who served as a basis to establish false terrorism claims. There are ruined lives all along the trail of this behavior.

Al Gore had it right. There is no controlling legal authority. Those who SHOULD be the controlling legal authority are the ones perpetrating the acts. You could establish a third party to police the DOJ and the FBI, but it would only be a matter of time until they followed the same path.

    1. Any different from any metropolitan police service?

I know of at least two major operations in a major Canadian city where the police just made up crimes that hadn’t happened, got warrants based on the nonexistent crimes, served the warrants, prosecuted the people where they could find evidence of some actual, real crime happening, and dragged the others through the courts for years until they either plead guilty to the crimes that never happened or paid a good enough lawyer to get the case dropped. All with the knowing collusion of the Crown and several judges. When they got caught, a couple of top officers were asked to resign and the rest of the task forces quietly reassigned. Not a single cop, Crown attorney or judge involved in the operations were ever charged or even censured.

All so some ambitious cops could pad their resumes. Two of the innocent people put through this meat grinder ended up committing suicide because they lost everything, even after having the charges dropped.

The cops are not your friends. They’ve never been your friends.

    2. the RCMP literally invented the “MR. Big entrapment scheme” and the courts went along with it, so no, no different.

  3. There are ways to temper this behavior, however. It would not solve the overall problem, but it would limit it somewhat. For example, single violations of FBI policy would result in mandatory and immediate dismissal. Even something as seemingly innocuous as accepting sporting event tickets from journalists would result in removal.

Minor in the grand scheme of things, but it would bring back the concept of “repercussions.” It would, also, remove some of the power of the politically seated Inspector General (who is actually the gatekeeper on behalf of a political party). There would be no negotiating on punishment (or lack thereof) with no threat of selective application. If it is proven that a policy was violated (which is factually documented)…then adios. If it sounds unreasonable, consider it a penalty applied towards an abused institution.

Then, of course, the same individuals abusing the system would, merely change the policy to be vague, non-committal and highly aloof…unless the policy was established by the legislature in the future reflective of representative Congress. It would be more difficult to tailor to any one political party.

  4. Why FAKE cases and FALSE affidavits? … –to help their performance reviews. PERIOD.

Sorry … but the VAST MAJORITY of the Deep State Federal Employees are there for the GIANT paychecks, perks, bonuses, benefits, better medical than your shitty Obamakkare, and BIG FAT SPIKED Pensions. We taxpayers are being bled dry by greedy and seedy Public Employees who will DO ANYTHING to fatten their paychecks. Yes … even commit FRAUD.

Donald J Trump is the ONLY candidate who will do anything about it. Who will work tirelessly to give our Nation back to the PEOPLE who pay the freight.

  5. More whistleblowers reveal….. I’m shocked I tell, just simply shocked! ………………./S now off.

It’s been plain to see for a few years now, same with our yellow striped thugs, the irony is that nothing is ever done about it, eventually one or two who are publicly visible, (might) get turfed, but the rest slink back into the shadows and carry on as before. Our government and justice systems are corrupt and will remain so, until they are torn out root and stem, and replaced with a better system….I wouldn’t hold my breath on that happening!

  6. Years too late. Should’ve spoken up when Trump was president. Cowards die a thousand deaths.
