14. New York City sucks because, and this is a very long-time thing in that place, city workers don’t work. The garbage men don’t work, the cops don’t work, the justice system stooges do not -work-. They PRETEND to work. And most of them do not live in NYC. They live in the suburbs, so they absolutely do not care what happens after their shift.

    The corruption is quite open, and breathtaking in scope. They’re all on the take. You got ten bucks, your garbage gets picked up. You don’t? Oh, we’ll get to that some day. Same with the cops, the fire department, the sidewalk repair guy, the sewer guy. All the same.

    So a bum that’s been arrested 41 times decking some old lady, or pushing her onto the subway tracks, or slashing her face with a bottle opener (I met a lady that happened to in NYC) that’s nothing. That’s every day. Every woman in NYC fears it.

    Ana Kasparian sees the same thing but to her all the trouble is due to Republicans. She thinks if only the DemocRats could take charge, then everything would be okay. Which is stupid. It doesn’t matter who’s in charge when the whole thing is a con. And it is. It’s a con.

    So, finally, she sees the one thing she’s afraid of. Some whacko fractures a woman’s face and gives her a concussion with one punch. So easy! He just swings his arm and BANG! down she goes.
