Outbreak Of Islam (Bumped)

Breaking diversity is our strength news.  Author Salman Rushdie was stabbed in New York.  No word on whether the FBI have blamed Trump.

Updates, from Kate: photo of the alleged assailant. Vodkapundit is posting updates as news comes in.

Daily Mail now reports he was stabbed “10-15 times”.

UPDATE (Reuters);

After hours of surgery, Rushdie was on a ventilator and unable to speak on Friday evening after an attack condemned by writers and politicians around the world as an assault on the freedom of expression.

“The news is not good,” Andrew Wylie, his book agent, wrote in an email. “Salman will likely lose one eye; the nerves in his arm were severed; and his liver was stabbed and damaged.”

    1. When a headline says Rushdie was stabbed in New York, or “on stage in New York” the assumption is New York City. Not so. He was speaking at Chautauqua Institution, which is in rural southwestern NY. (Interesting place for decades, truly an “institution.”) It’s on Chautauqua Lake and about as bucolic a place as you can find. That’s why it greatly surprised me that this happened there. Though, I guess because it IS a well-known place, some Muslim idiot who thought he would do the world a favor by exercising the fatwa that still exists on Rushdie could easily drive down there and find the place.

    1. Huh… I thought they just slapped people with shoes…

Either way..is it realllly violence if its with a knife? And no “whitey” involved?

    2. When will they stop the horror of knife stabbing! Time to register knives. Only disposable plastic knives should be allowed!

      1. But Environment Minister Guilbeault is banning those as not being environmentally friendly. It’s going to be “no knives Canada”. Guess we’ll have to resort to box cutters.

  1. Obviously one of those Amish types. Maybe a Hutterite. You know those crusaders. ~sarcasm~

  2. If he’s not “white” then its “clearly a case of “mental illness”… thats how this works right ?

    1. Absolutely.
Just like that Chinese guy who took the head off that Native dude on a Greyhound bus in Northern Ontario a decade back.
      Ate his eyes and liver.
      Chinaman was off his meds.
Now he is on them , so all’s good, he is out on good behaviour and clearly not crazy at all, even though he told the cops he heard voices in his head or is it his teeth, I get confused some times.

Eh, what’s a little cannibalism among friends.

      1. And the cops did a Uvalde. Concealed carry would have stopped this, but a man with over a billion Muslims wanting him dead would not be justification in New York.

  3. Rumour has it that Blackie will be issuing a statement from his beach in Costa Rica. It will state that the incident would not have happened if Rushdie wasn’t so Islamophobic.

  4. Don’t kid yourself, in private all the “peace loving” Moslems are saying Allahu Akbar, but in public they’ll say dummy doesn’t represent Islam or he’s retarded or mentally ill as Sean M wrote.
And if you disagree with them they’ll pull out the Islamophobia card.
When they do, tell them to wipe their arse with it but be sure to use their left hand.

    1. No,No.. They will say islam is peaceful, but if you dont agree with them they will kill you!

  5. Ilhan Omar is so happy she’s going to have more sex with her brother and Rashida Tlaib is so grateful she’s going to stop having sex with her sons.

    1. Yes we should have understood his message much earlier. One question though, is there such a thing as a non fundamentalist death cult?

      1. Not an expert on Islam, but long ago the Muslim higher-ups passed a resolution that every word in the Koran is literally true. So you’re right, essentially all Muslims are fundamentalists.

        1. I’m with the guys at the Get Religion blog on this point. “Fundamentalist” has an agreed meaning only in Christianity. Applied to any other religion it can only have meaning by making an analogy between some movement in that religion and Christian fundamentalism. And there may be such analogues, but unless you’re a serious scholar of that religion, you’ll be in no position to find them. Better not to use the term except about actual self-identified Christian Fundamentalists. Find a more usefully descriptive term for other religions. As here, “primitive” or “literalist” Muslims.

    1. There’s been a price on his head ever since he published The Satanic Verses in the 1980s and it’s never been revoked.

  6. Minor point, but thee comments section beneath the Globe and Mail’s article on the attempted assassination of Rushdie broke down, such that only one comment was registered so far. The Globe is pro-radical-Muslim, as is all left-wing media. The error message for the breakdown is something I have never seer before.

    1. Having a Muslim name is no evidence that the assassination attempt had anything to do with Islam, or any Islamic terror. Nosiree. Not at all. /sat.

  7. I’m still waiting for instructions from Davos before I parrot slogans form an opinion.

  8. ‘.. an attack condemned by writers and politicians around the world as an assault on the freedom of expression.’

That’ll put a stop to this nonsense.

    1. @Ontario John – “…full of praise for the attacker”.

Of course the BBC doesn’t want to lose private access to the grooming gangs of the UK.

They needn’t fear it’s New York, the guy will be out on the street tomorrow without bail.

  9. “Religion of peace issues statement” – “This site cannot be reached”. Enough said.

  10. Forget “multi-culturalism” … These Muzlimb invaders are Cultural misfits. They don’t FIT in civilized western society. They are unFIT for our nations. Let them stay in their desert hellholes and practice their barbaric religion.

    No … that’s not “xenophobia” … it’s called self-preservation. Cultural preservation

  11. I doubt that criticism of this man or his “religion” are permitted or tolerated by the current gov’t of Canada on forums after the gov’t of Canada’s new censorship law comes into force.

But speaking about “Piss Christ” from the University of Sask. is protected by the secularists in charge.

I’m not a fan of Mr. Rushdie’s writings, I’ve never read any of his books, only read about him.
I do agree with his freedom to say as he wishes, and hope the best for his health as a result of this attack from the terrorist.

  12. Zero security at the Chawtalkblaw since (“only our kind of people were expected (?) “) weapons screening would be “too restrictive”. California born perp via Joisey is from the non sunny side of the street.

  13. Could have been a lover of literature – The Satanic Verses is unreadable trash. Have a copy that I was using as a doorstop. Highest and best use.
If it was a muzzie he probably could not read so that rules that out.

  14. And just like clockwork … Twitter allows Radical Iranian Imams to spread their vile hate and fatwas against Rushdie … all day long … all day long. It seems some HATE is more cherished than other hate by Twitter. Elon can’t own that vile site soon enough

  15. I’ll bet an even sum that these “terror cells” are coached and funded by the CIA and FBI so they can launch “operation distraction” when things aren’t going well during, say, the Mar A Lago panty raid.
