Their exalted crime expert (if you listened until the end) blames the increase of crime on the pandemic…and states that it is equally bad in blue states and red states (and he singled out red rural regions specifically).
So I think it’s fair to assume that things will continue as they have and the retarded residents of Portland are unable to form a reasonable summation as to why things are the way they are.
It is tough to compare “red” states and “blue” states. Makes more sense to compare cities which are more homogeneous. Even neighborhoods. Portland, Detroit, Newark, Cleveland, Chicago, Oakland, Flint, Camden.
Not sure how many of those cities are “blue”.

Portland is doing us a favor. But for the grace of God, there go we (or something). Take an ideology that will absolutely crush society and let it play out to the very end. Then pick up the pieces. We get to use it as a cautionary tale. It takes a long time to crush a city, however.
