Talk with any educated European or any elitist Canadian or American and you’ll hear how superior, how much more enlightened the European leaders are. Such delusions might seem interesting during cocktails but the reality is quite different:

      The decline started earlier than that.

      I used to be friends with a now-retired clergyman. When he was a seminary student about 40 years ago, he was a rabid socialist. He proudly boasted of how socialism has “blessed” society, using Europe as an example. Shorter work weeks, longer vacations, what wasn’t to like about that?

      The result was that companies were often paralyzed by crippling strikes as the unions (which often had some of its members on the boards of those firms) clamoured for even more. The productivity of the European industrial engine was slowly eroded.

      Add to that urban warfare waged by groups such as the Baader-Meinhof Gang and the Red Brigade, and the seeming inability of police and military forces to eradicate them, and we have a disaster in the making.

We have global “leaders” that have no viable skills, no viable experience whose only interest is to fill their personal pockets and solidify their positions of power over their electorate – Verses – Serious minded skilled & experienced leadership that focuses on their national interests and plan well in advance to further those national interests.

    It is a no brainier who wins in the end. One side regardless of being “good or bad” plays 4D chess in a quiet room, while the other poses for selfies at the junior world checkers tournament.

      Agreed that the real 4D chess battle is the Davos elites vs the actual political leaders in the BRICS, and the BRICS have pulled down the Davos’ elites pants and tied their underwear in a knot on their foreheads. I’m rather enjoying it…

  5. My guess is that this was a planned event to divide Germany and Russia. German technology and Russian resources combined would make the USA irrelevant in the world.

    1. Two already divided a countries versus the US that needs neither German technology nor Russian oil.

    2. The policy of the Empire is to not allow the ascendancy of rivals. Since the primary objective i.e., the take down of Russia appears to be failing, the occupiers will have to settle for the secondary objective you state.

      It’s entirely about the complete incompetence of E.U. leaders and how they get promoted upward for failure.

The slow motion train wreck that is the EU has been in progress all my life, but let’s not forget that the free grift that enabled it that started with the Marshall plan was replaced by the raping of the UK oil/gas bonanza and was forever destined to have an impact with reality once they met someone that was not going to roll over and play dead.
        The causation was a project dreamed up by international socialists and faithfully propagated over 70 years by an expanding cabal of bureaucratic socialists, the corruption of the EU institution in all its guises is matched only by the other great international socialist project, the UN.
        The impeding collapse is is totally due to the vanity of these morally delinquent grifters to understand the very basics of modern life, that this is the hydrocarbon age and if you allow all your resources to be controlled by a bear that you keep prodding then eventually the bear will hit back and when its not another bear doing the prodding but a delinquent child, said child is going to get mauled at the very least, in Europes case its going to be terminal.
        So while I understand your reply this is totally something that has to do with Russia, whilst the end result would always eventually have been the same, the catalysis was Russia about who they are too stupid to understand, imagining the world in their own image.
        Prophecy would of course be an anathema to the self appointed elites.
