    1. nope

they are mostly a mix of fiberglass, plastic and something else I cannot remember now, Epoxy or something

when they are worn out ( after about 20 years at best ) they bury them in the ground as it is too complicated and too expensive to recycle them.

in other words; NOT green at all !

just google this in google IMAGES

” wind turbine blades in landfills after use”

and you will see it is true.

and they are GIGANTIC, they dwarf the machinery burying them.

by the way solar panels are even worse, contain more toxic material and are very hard to recycle,

almost nothing about green energy is actually green…

      1. Thanks. I agree, the only green in them is the greenbacks given to lefty cronies.
I know how big they are, I’ve been at the front of a railway level crossing when a trainload of them went by. They are huge.

      2. When you get right down to it … it’s 1970’s technology repackaged and rebranded as “breakthrough technologies”. … Rubbish. Yes, we can make solar panels faster … but they’re the same basic combination of materials and physics. Hint: they’re NOT like your cell phones or Ring doorbells …

  1. That’s quite the carbon butt print there.

How does a blade catch fire like that? Lightning strike? Spite?

  2. To all the greenies who think CO2 is pollution, THAT is what real pollution looks like.

    1. I think a volcano tops that.
There is always one churning away on this Rock, even an active one under the Antarctic Ice Sheets.

  3. OMG. That’s CARBON being put into the atmosphere! Flood. Fire. Famine. Monkeypox. Warts. Baldness.

    the list goes on…………………………………

  4. Smoke is the magic stuff that keeps electrical stuff working.
When you let the smoke out, they stop working.
    Keep the smoke in.
