  1. I’d be more worried about my pilot dropping dead mid-flight.
    I’m waiting to see how those incidents get covered up after they happen.

      You know the ones that have a major engineering problem but they built thousands anyway.

    2. That is why there are two pilots. They both are unlikely to die of heart failure from the government experimental vaccine they were forced to take. At least they are unlikely to both die before the second pilot can land the plane.

        2. Thousands of books have been written about the enemy, though none of them can be found in Chapters or on Amazon today, weirdly enough.

          The enemy are the Jesuits in particular, and the anti-Christian Roman Catholic cult in general.

          People from all nations have written about their evils through the centuries. More books were written warning about them than any other topic.

          You’d never know that today. Most people today don’t even know who the Jesuits are, and think Roman Catholicism is just a variant of Christianity.

          But nearly everyone knows about the next Avengers movie.

          Our leaders are just the puppets they install through fraudulent elections. From Roman Catholics like Trudeau and Butts, to full-on Jesuits like Jason Kenney, to Dames of Malta like Julie Payette, to Freemasons like Doug Ford.

          1. I am Roman Catholic, but I don’t associate, or consider myself to be a Jesuit, like our current pope, who happens to be Jesuit, and I would say he is in reality the “anti-pope.” (Benedict XVI is still the real pope despite his emeritus status.)

      An old friend—CBC retiree—asked me if I had any plans “now that you are allowed to fly”.
      I told him that I will get on a plane again when we return to the pre-covid status quo ante.
      IOW, I will never fly again; not that I care much as I haven’t enjoyed flying since 9/11.

      I gave up my life long desire to get my pilot’s licence but demurred when I realized how much interfacing with gubmint authority it entailed.

      No masks. No testing. No proof of injection.

  3. No one in my family has flown for three years and will not fly until the mess in the airline industry is cleaned up .. AND NO MASK IS REQUIRED.

    OUR GOVERNMENTS ARE INCOMPETENT FAILURES.

  5. Flying became a horrible activity for me even before the phony plague. The airlines, generally, provided lousy service at inflated prices.

    I doubt I’ll ever fly again even if this current mess is sorted out.

    And I was happy.
    I guess a fitting bookend is to not fly for the last 20, either.

  8. Umm, correct me if I’m wrong but won’t 6 in 10 Canadians never fly in a plane in their lives in the first place? Not everyone travels, most people won’t travel outside of a 200km radius from their homes unless it’s for an emergency of some sort. Now I would have an easier time believing this poll if they said 6 in 10 Canadians who are planning to fly somewhere were going to cancel their plans because of the airport chaos.

  10. turdo’s decision to restart the airport screening/testing is nothing but a desperate measure to make all those “Canada’s Third World Airports ” stories go away. As far as he’s concerned it’s better to have everyone stay home than face headlines pointing out his criminal culpability for the state of affairs.

    I look forward to Brian Peckfords case being “suspended” and pushed down the road, again and again. Maybe it will wake him up.

    Did you complain about being locked up? Did you wear masks because “you were in it together”? Did you call anyone who complained a racist or white supremacist? Did you let the idiot frat-boy ruin a once perfectly good economy?

    The same people moaning will expect the same idiot who made this mess to clean it up.

  15. Trying to remember a time when airports weren’t a total shitshow. Forgive the language but there’s really no other way to put it. Nothing like having your trip bookended by 14 hour waits at both ends, and that was is 2012. Never again.

  16. Had a client just this morning leaving from Vancouver airport – security line was literally out the door. He made his flight with 2 minutes to spare. I told him get a god damned Global Entry number when he gets home. The two others with him had GE numbers and they sailed right through. He was lucky to make his flight at all.

  17. Used to make biannual trip to visit my sister on the east coast. Had a flight booked in 2020, needless to say that didn’t happen and it took about 6 months to get ‘most’ of my air fare refunded. Couldn’t book next year because I didn’t take the shots and I won’t go this year either because of the turmoil in the airline industry. So count me among those that won’t fly right now.

    Not a CHANCE I’m going near an airport.
    I’ll drive wherever I go. In spite of the gas prices.

  21. I mean, it’s not bad advice. With Canadians cards maxxed out and mortgages increasing maybe cutting down on the absurd amount of air travel might be a good idea.

  22. I usually just fly out of us airports anyway so I’ll continue to do it. Escape the Trudeau insanity. I tell you if Trudeau and Singh win the next election I’m out of this place. So many people I’ve talked to lately have the same idea.
