  1. The meteor that exploded over Chelyabinsk nearly 10 years ago wasn’t noticed until shortly before the incident because of its trajectory. It came into the atmosphere from a sunward direction, making it hard to detect.

    1. Now that’s just silly! Surely they could have had some astronomers on graveyard shift with night-vision telescopes. :`0)

  5. Funny enough I was expecting this. Crisis to crisis. I figured that the asteroid potentially crashing into earth would be the next great panic to control the masses. They have been preparing us for aliens and when they use that card there will be no more tricks up their sleeves. Not sure what happens then.

  6. I apologize in advance to what I’m about to say, because I’m sure this is going to ruffle someone’s feathers, but I’m going to say it anyway, because to me, this is a warning.

    Do you suppose God is doing his best Maxwell Smart imitation? “Missed it by that much!”

    1. In this case, even if it was a direct hit, it would only have made a nice light show in the sky, maybe some thunder, and that only localized around where it hit.

      1. That could have been the intent. Give us a little show to remind everyone who’s still in charge, and so the senior angel in charge may now be asking his/her subordinate “What went wrong? God wants to know!”

    But surely the headline should tell us how we can expect many more of these potentially disastrous because of Climate Change.

    Why do I have to wait months for the National Geographic to properly cover this crisis?

    3. Start with a km wide one aimed about 500 – 750 miles off the West Coast…. Create a tsunami, WIPE said coast KLEAN.

    Maybe it’s time to start parking all that old horse drawn farm machinery out by a fence line instead of sending it to the scrap steel dealers.

  11. If the climate change Armageddon doesn’t scare the beejeezus out of the masses maybe an errant asteroid will. If not we have famine, war and rumours of war, economic collapse, pestilence, viruses, and severe weather to choose from. Take your pick. The globalists want to keep you in a constant state of fear. BTW July 7th was yesterday…whew. Dodged a bullet there.

    1. Are they deflecting it away or towards Earth?

      And either way they wouldn’t tell us the truth, we know that to be true…

  14. In their partial defence space is, well, very ‘spacious’… And these things are usually very dark, don’t have running lights, are very fast, could come from any direction, and are hard to spot.

    And they never went through with the proposed Skywatch programme that might have better detected them because it was too expensive (and too sensible). I still remember my amusement at the subtitle in a talk Dr. Duncan Steele gave about it; “Never mind the human lives, what about the money”?!

    But also yes, it’s past now, and yet another ‘clutch your pearls’ time for the faint of heart and mind…

  15. Waiting for the asteroid is the perfect encapsulation of our time.
    Like Crabs in a bucket.
    We huddle at the bottom of this gravity well,sabotaging any who try to scale the wall of this world..While knowing,with undeniable certainty,that asteroids have devastated earth before,possibly even clearing the way for us mammals to become dominant..
    This is stupidity of the highest order.
    You know its coming,so get some of your eggs out of the basket..
    Too rational for man.

    Lets face it,we are dumb all over and more than a little ugly on the side.
    From the theological point of view,Satan,the Lord Gods Number one enforcer,was banished and damned..
    For when God summoned his minions and made that famous statement’Behold,I have created man”..Minion Number One could not stop laughing..
    Omnipotent Beings,apparently do not appreciate laughter..
    Yet even we mortals,when we reflect upon ourselves,can only laugh..This may have been the plan.
    Reflecting upon a lifetime of stupidity with joy.
