The only sport I can bear watching now is F1 racing. My guess is that its because I can focus on the cars as well as the drivers. Cars can’t take a knee, lecture me on climate change, tell me to stand with Ukraine, etc.
HUM HiHo. I’m probably a bit behind the times but the only knees I’m aware of taken in hockey were during what the Aussies would call a bit of a blue, & they were very few (The knees, not the blues.) and far between.
The cars can’t; but the drivers do (Hamilton). F1 sucks and blows at the same time: woke, PC, virtue signallers.
Hubby and I enjoy all racing, including F1, but NASCAR is our fave. God bless America! Let’s go Brandon!
NASCAR is much better. In F1, pole wins. Yawn.
I took BART to the Oakland Coliseum occasionally to watch the California Golden Seals back in the day. My favorite player was a Canuck named Carol Vadnais. Handsome fellow. Drove a Corvette with “Vadnais” on the plate. Loved it and him.
