  1. Last night, the URL to Charles Bronson movie was posted. Here’s one that was made at around the same time, You Can’t Win ‘Em All (also with Tony Curtis and made by the director of the original The Italian Job):

    The plot’s a bit disjointed, but it has lots of bang-bang and kaboom! By the way, there are at least 2 anachronisms in it, so watch the movie carefully.

    1. And, tonight, Stinker Cinema presents Saturn 3 with Kirk Douglas, Farrah Fawcett, and Harvey Keitel and directed by Stanley Donen:

      Douglas and Fawcett play a pair of researchers on a moon or asteroid orbiting Saturn. He has the hots for her. Keitel plays a psycho military officer who…… has the hots for her. He brings a long a robot, which….. has the hots for her.

      Douglas looks bored. Fawcett has a “I left Charlie’s Angels to make rubbish like this?” look. The most interesting character’s a dog and she’s killed off halfway through. Fawcett spends much of the time on screen being scantily clad and there’s a few seconds of her being, well, you know…..

      The movie’s a waste of talent, particularly that of Donen who made Hollywood musicals such as Damn Yankees and Singin’ In the Rain, as well as Charade. It was released a few years after Star Wars and Moonraker, so I think it was made to capitalize on those two popular films.

      This movie’s terrible. If you insist on watching it, don’t say you weren’t warned.

      (After seeing this, I feel sorry for movie reviewers. They have to sit through twaddle like this as part of their jobs.)

      Now Poles can say “oopsie poopsie we have really tried, we just have to go back to energy independence and restart our excess capacity” (and there is a lot of it), plus look at alternative sources from abroad. Unless they get strong-armed by Gazprom owned Germans and other assorted Euros, which will be much harder now, they got a huge gift and they will milk it for all its worth and they get to play principled victim while at it.

      But don’t let it destruct you from smearing feces on the walls out of excitement. They just didn’t see it coming. Sure they didn’t. They got completely blindsided. Sure they did. Because they’re dumb and Pootin is so smart. Ok NPC.

    1. This was brilliant, I want to know when our esteemed news media will publish information on the problems with the mathematical model. If they fail to do so, it just confirms that the media message is controlled. I am just disgusted. Bridle points to a claim that the journal itself distributed the article to doctors. Talk about a massive propaganda effort. They may also have distributed to the news outlets that published this so enthusiastically. Fisman needs to come clean.

        David– notice my post ‘then,’ on that day, was about NEWS from your lovely province, no less. I used to live there for a time.
        Also, I’m glad to get this off my chest, it’s sort of bothered me for awhile. I never pick fights with the lovely people here, in fact, I was sort of surprised though that no one came to my defense. That’s why I like the bottom of the page here, where he insisted I go, at the end of the day, there’s some really great men who post there usually.
