Its glossy brochures framed it as a peaceful exchange between retired American and Chinese generals. Photographs showed senior officers chatting in Hawaiian shirts, touring military institutions and sitting across from Chinese commanders in ornate meeting rooms.
But the initiative was not organized with an ordinary veterans’ association.
It was funded by the China-United States Exchange Foundation, or CUSEF, and conducted with the China Association for International Friendly Contact, or CAIFC.
Congressional investigators have described CAIFC as “a front organization” for the People’s Liberation Army’s former General Political Department.
The U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission found that the group performed the dual roles of “intelligence collection” and “conducting propaganda and perception management campaigns.”

WTAF. Interrogate every general involved. If they committed treason, call them back into uniform, and prosecute them under the code of military justice. Guilty? Ruin them financially, and execute a custodial or capital punishment.
Some may have joined to get intelligence on Sanwa. Others, like Admiral Bill Owens, appointed by Clinton, became China apologists, and employees (. Owens is also a Rhodes scholar, the natural enemy of the US Constitution and Republic. )
None should accept perks or money from any Chinese entity.

The officer corps (of all western nations) generally consists of two classes of soldiers: warriors and politicians. Progressive regimes cull the warriors and elevate the politicians. Politicians, in or out of uniform, are courted or coerced (if among the diaspora) by the CCP. All officers are ultimately under the command of politicians. At end stage of democracies, few politicians are not rotten.
It’s amazing the number of friends you can make with free dinners and free hookers.
