Germans will always be against dependence on russian gas, Bidet and Potato will blame Trump for not delivering pipelines. Hajdu and 3F will be remembered for always being opposed to any economic restrictions re Wuhan Flu, and Hans Guilbeault Gruber will reminiscent about climbing CN tower to protect oil interests on Canadian natives.

      2. If math is just a matter of opinion, that poses an interesting problem. I am a Professional Engineer and doing my sums right has been central to my job: people’s lives depend on me getting the right answer.

        So, if I get the wrong answer, can I use the defence of math is whatever I say it is?

    I still have the one I bought in the mid-1980s. It wasn’t my first machine, though. I started a Sinclair (which, frankly, wasn’t all that great) and, later a Texas Instruments TI-99.

    With my ’64, I had my first experience with what would eventually become the Internet. Around the time I bought it, Canadian telephone companies collaborated with each other and offered a service which was called iNet 2000. I was on the old CompuServe for a few years through that, spending countless hours on its space bulletin board.

    Must be worried about those few quebek votes. Those votes that Canadians have payed billions for in subsidies – only to make a few dairymen millionaires.

        Back in 2013 Martha Hall Findley ran for the leadership of the librano party. She was almost a single issue candidate. If she became leader (the Bong won) she would abolish Supply Management (SM). She lost. Max tried the same thing with the same result.

        Andrew Scheer sucked up to the quebek dairy lobby in the CPC leadership and they backed him. Scheer won in a contested election.
        He was seen as an illegitimate leader and didn’t last long.

        The Americans attempted to force Canada’s hand over SM in the free trade negotiations and in subsequent NAFTA agreements with very little success. The truth is SM overwhelmingly benefits quebek. Couple that with the inefficiency of the Canadian dairy
        industry and you have an immovable object.

        PP knows all of this. Maybe if he becomes leader of the CPC and then wins a decisive majority in a federal election he’ll tackle SM.
        I won’t be holding my breath.

I think it was Bill who suggested that Pootin may end pulling a Richelieu in the 30 Years’ War, in other words devastate the enemy to the point of near uninhabitability.
