  2. Neither rain, nor hail, nor sleet, nor….. Oh well, forget that crap, we don’t want to be killed by out of control vibrant people. No mail for you.

    1. “WHEN YOUR PETS ARE SMARTER THAN YOUR KIDS”…
Our society has a serious problem!

  3. My local NextDoor App has become THE PLACE to come and whine about how your car was broken into while you were at a restaurant, or sleeping, or on an errand. And it’s not just on the Oakland streets anymore. Nope. Now it’s the lillywhite (and Asian) streets in the suburbs too. Oh! And the catalytic converter thefts – don’t forget those.

But in typical NextDoor App style … all the comments are about how it’s NOT the fault of “bad” people … or useless DA’s … or fewer cops … or leftist politicians … or mass illegal immigration. Nope. Your car got broken into because YOU have MORE than some poor unfortunate. YOUR income is greater than theirs. So …

  4. The way it looks, California is just about ripe for a dicktator (sic).
The familiar way socialists/fascists work is they run down the place with “free” stuff, no law enforcement except those that don’t agree and other many actions that destroys normal life of the astonishingly agreeable life of the plebeians.
Of course the plan is that once the …. hits the wall, there is nowhere to go.
So get a dicktator (sic) to put things in another way, the newspeak is paradigm.
The plebeians will like it in the beginning because at the least, things will stop going down since there is nowhere to go.
As anybody who is familiar with socialism, fascism, communism know, things will sort of ‘stabilize’ and then the show trials begin.
The thing is that it will take California a lot of pain of the plebeians before that will happen because the state is wealthy and prosperous.
Wealth lasts only so far as the producers outnumber the welfare sector, once the critical mass of the welfare overwhelms the producers, its goodbye to prosperity.

  5. Here’s the impossible dream:

The folks who can’t get mail realize that they have overwhelmingly supported the wrong party and decide to go Republican in November.

Ain’t likely to happen enough in SoCal but might have an impact in some parts of the country.

An alternative solution would be for the folks in the area to fix the problem themselves – they know who the culprit(s) is.
