  1. What about Federal mandates for federal employees and provincial mandates in other provinces? I’m thinking about government employees who were forced to get vaccinated or lose their jobs.

    1. That will come eventually. There was mention in the media that Wednesday was going to come with an update, only for the TBS to tweet that they are going to consult the ‘experts’.
      The moment Justin said that the vaccines would be optional in early 2020, I knew in my stomach the exact opposite was true. I’ve been on my arse for the last 5 months as one of the 6,000 or so who said F*%# off to the feds and their BS. I intend to capitalize on this and extract as much compensation as possible when the rats finally have nowhere to run.

    1. There was a mandate in Ontario for long term care workers. I believe other government funded or regulated sectors (child care, community support services, developmental services, etc) were only required to have a policy but the requirement for testing the unvaccinated were so onerous that smaller agencies often decided to go with the mandate. It was a bit of a strong arm approach with an escape hatch for government. The clear intent was to increase vaccination uptake.

  3. The vaccine mandates are illegal and a direct attack on Charter rights as indicated in several Supreme Court cases similar to those quoted below.

    The principle was adopted by this Court in Ciarlariello v. Schacter, [1993] 2 S.C.R. 119, at p. 135, where Cory J. explained:

    “It should not be forgotten that every patient has a right to bodily integrity. This encompasses the right to determine what medical procedures will be accepted and the extent to which they will be accepted. Everyone has the right to decide what is to be done to one’s own body. This includes the right to be free from medical treatment to which the individual does not consent. This concept of individual autonomy is fundamental to the common law and is the basis for the requirement that disclosure be made to a patient. If, during the course of a medical procedure a patient withdraws the consent to that procedure, then the doctors must halt the process. This duty to stop does no more than recognize every individual’s basic right to make decisions concerning his or her own body.”

And I don’t think you really understand it because the concept was to protect citizens from the government….not the other way around. That is has largely been ignored by the fascists now in power doesn’t change that fact.

          1. You miss the point. I am talking about the concept of the Charter….not the application of it over the past couple of years. Don’t mix up the two. And by the way, the Charter was not imposed by one man….but by many. And there still are some who know it’s original intent. The fascists in power have now revealed themselves….where it goes from here is anybody’s guess. But the cat is now out of the bag.

          2. Well, you’re warned in article one about reasonable limits. I saw the charter in the museum in Ottawa years ago, in the section where they have this little shrine to PET, complete with a picture with Castro. I noticed the part about the reasonable limits. Then I knew it was worthless.

          Hi did not have a mandate to impose his Charter and neither did any of the so called Premiers who simply signed on to the stupid thing with out asking their constituents for permission, the ultimate in fascistic political vandalism.

          A Charter that no one voted for, a Charter imposed without consent from those that it rules over, a Charter that protects the State from the people.

          The fact that the Charter exists, but doesn’t protect citizens from Government fascism is the proof that the Charter is an anti democratic document that excludes citizens from power and hands complete license to politically appointed Judges to “interpret” what Peeairs Charter really means, in other words politically appointed Judges decide the content of the Charter.
          The Charter does not protect citizens from the Government, never has and never will because it is the Government that controls and ultimately decides what the Charter means at any given time ( a living document ) .

        4. Art, I appreciate what Brian Peckford thought he was getting, but there was enough latitude in the “reasonable limits” clause to make it laughable. And “reasonable limits” are subject to interpretation that always favors those with power. Either rights are absolute or they become malleable and subject to whim. We are experiencing rule by people that don’t give a damn about rights so “reasonable limits” don’t mean what Peckford thought they should mean.

      I call this, the going through the motions act … Governments behave like lawless fascists for a full two years without any science or data to back up their fascism, then when things begin to fall apart a few court cases are allowed to go forward making sure to have the right kind of “Judges” proceeding over the charade ( Liberal Party Judges ) the case is heard, the Media ignore, in the end the ” Judge ” says the Government can do as it pleases when it pleases even if it means complete lawlessness and Nazi style population control… for your health.

      To believe that politically appointed Judges are going to hold the corrupt politicians that appointed them accountable just doesn’t understand how corrupt this country truly is… this “trial” is a waste of time, so is Peckfords case… the Courts are corrupt the Law Society itself is corrupt to the core. Hinshaw will walk and be rewarded with an obscene taxpayer funded payoff ( pension ).

    I wonder what brought the backpedaling about?
    The health stats hidden from the public must be amazing.
    Perhaps their own people are getting sick, or noticing their families and friends getting sick and dying and their own staff is starting to question things.

  9. Governments and bureaucrats will now be doing absolutely everything they can to cover their asses. Watch for burning barrels full of documents and computers and servers being smashed. As hard as they might try to cover their tracks, the truth will eventually come out. Could take a long time, but it will happen.

    I noticed a funny thing this morning with the weekly UK vaccine surveillance reports. Week 14 came out and they did not have the death data noted. It had typically been produced by age and vaccine status with the weekly deaths. And the reason is crystal clear…..since January 1, 2022, the percentage of deaths in the “fully vaccinated” and “fully vaccinated and boosted” grew. In fact, in Week 13, of the 2,144 deaths in that week, 1,871 were in the “fully vaccinated” and “fully vaccinated and boosted” group (87.27%). And in that 1,871 deaths, 314 were “fully vaccinated” while 1,557 were in the “fully vaccinated and boosted” group! In other words, 72.62% if ALL the Covid deaths were in the “fully vaccinated and boosted”. As for the completely unvaccinated, only 214 deaths or 9.98%…..while the unvaccinated account for about 20% of the population.

    And those percentages grew every week since January 1, 2022 (Omicron peak). The “vaccines” are abject failures.

  13. I feel no empathy for employers who end up sued, they did the government’s bidding without so much as a whimper of refusal. They deserve what they get, of course now that the pandemic is over the various levels of government is going to blame private businesses for vaccine mandates and of course the medical establishment is liable for the damage they did without due process or any attempt to investigate experimental vaccines.

  15. A peek at the “sunshine”list available on Ontario’s Ministry of Finance website shows that Kieran Moore was paid $225,708.71 and $287 in taxable benefits in 2021.
    Going back further reveals in 2020 he was paid $412,637.35 and $2234.78 in taxable benefits, while at that time, he was the regional Chief Medical Officer of Health for Kingston and area.
    Makes ya go hmmmmmm…why did he take a pay cut to become Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer of Health?

    2017 salary was 265,823.25
    2016 salary was 253,262.80
