The Biden administration should be applauded for informing media of every move they plan to make, in terms of supplying Ukraine with arms, etc.. Transparency is so…moronic.
It’s not as if secrecy is of any value at at time of war.
Stupidity is our strength.

I just have to ask. What’s going on with Snow Brandon Trudeau? I haven’t seen him in the news lately and that’s not in line with his constant need for narcissistic supply.
The Bong was tired from his virtue photo-ops in Europe, pretending his government supports Ukraine in order to gain votes from the conservative Ukrainian-Canadian community.
BC is back to normal folks. Most people had no mask on the ferry. Most not wearing a face tampon in the mall. The restaurant this evening was nearly 100% maskless including staff. We’re back baby.
The thing I’ve noticed is maskies are miserable. Like they’re already dead. Why not just get it over with?
Maybe so, not around the tri-cities. An awful lot of folks sure seem to still love their face diapers. Still seeing them outside.
Are people still taking the clot shots???? Do you still need to prove you have poisoned yourself in order to travel? This crap is far from over.
Yes. And some also need it to keep their job. I think there should be enough evidence now for successful law suits against the dangerous mandates,
VOWG.
Anyone that works up in the OilSands – Vax PaSS REQUIRED – 2 shots min. Suncor – Syncrude – CNRL or any of the Contracting companies as well.
In Calgary still see literally thousands with face Diapers on. Many Elderly, Many Teenagers..although that # seems to be descending, but Orientals..?? I’d say 85% of them….Lots of Karens of all ages as well.
Many Many Retail outlets still with fully masked employees…Its disgusting in my opinion that even with Provincial Mandates gone…Companies still enforcing this utter Idiocy.
That individuals do it..? is a head scratcher. I guess in one way, its a good thing I’m retired…had I been working..?? DEFINITELY woulda been FIRED for non compliance by the Medical Nazi’s. Hells bells, I saw this guy yesterday maybe 40-45 yrs old, driving his car wearing 2 masks no less – a Surgical blue under a black neoprene type…..in his car…all the windows up with 14C outside..
He & those like him wont live long…and to me..?? I’m ok with that.
And it ain’t over by a long shot as long as I am a Prisoner in my own country
Same here.
On that topic, there is yet another CTV poll that needs some serious help:
“What should the federal government do with its vaccine mandates?”
Right now the good guys are at 49%

Good guys now 60%
So good to hear, James. I need to check in with my Vancouver friends about this.
Terence Corcoran: The myth of the $10 EV recharge
In a centrally planned command economy, decision-making is centralized. “The government controls all of the supply and sets all of the demand. Prices cannot arise naturally like in a market economy, so prices in the economy must be set by government officials.”
That pretty much defines the EV market today and as it will exist in the future under government mandates that will force the auto industry to stop selling internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles by 2035. Consumers will have no choice in the matter. As Environment Minister Steven Guilbeault said the other day , “it will not be voluntary.”
The EV industry is under the command and control of government central planners. Forgive the cliché, but: “What could go wrong?”

Conservative leadership candidate Jean Charest said Thursday he wouldn’t touch Canada’s existing gun laws — including when it comes to a ban on “assault-style” firearms.
Asked specifically about the Liberal government’s ban on some 1,500 models of “assault-style” firearms, he said, “I’m not seeking to change the laws as they are.”
Charest’s position appears to run contrary to the party’s, whose critics on the issue recently called for the ban to be scrapped and whatever money dedicated to it to be redirected to police and border services.
Even Patrick Brown from GTA gets it:
A similar opinion (to the party’s) was expressed late Thursday by fellow candidate Patrick Brown.
“I’m a GTA mayor. From first-hand experience I know the billions Trudeau will spend on taking legally owned firearms is better spent on police resources we desperately need,” he tweeted.

ABC – Anyone but Charest (for Conservative leadership). Can I get an Amen?
Charest is exhibiting signs of cognitive decline.
He thinks he’s running for leader of the liberal party.
ABCAB “Anyone but Charest and Brown.”
fc and The 26er – agreed, ABCAB. Or maybe; Anyone But Sleazy Charest And Brown (ABSCAB).
Amen?
Not a chance. He can go to hell and when he gets there he can go fuck himself.
The fact that he thinks an Order-in-council is legal shows he’s unfit to run, let alone govern.
Anyone who wants to take the firearms away from law-abiding citizens is an enemy of individual liberty and has not a drop of conservative blood.
Buddy.
AMEN to that….and only that.
And Never Brown.
Amen?

I read an article about solar roof shingles. The guy needed a new roof. It was a modest house with a simple design but located in California (aka everything is expensive). He spent about $30,000 and he’s saving $2,400 a year in electricity. He calls it a 9 year pay-back because a normal new roof would have cost $10,000. So $20,000 / $2,400 is 8.3 years. Not bad except one emerging problem. California (like Ontario) now wants to charge people for the power distribution lines (to their home) whether they sell electricity onto the grid or just don’t use any. That will be a problem. Also he didn’t factor any maintenance into the costs and he already had to have the solar shingles professionally cleaned because when they get dirty that 20% efficiency goes downhill pretty fast.
Then ther is a possibility of a hailstorm.
I agree that Europe is an effete, limp-wristed sissy facing Russia. But this link below says that the Sissy Continent could shut off Russian natural gas now that winter is almost over:

https://thepostmillennial.com/edmonton-mass-shooting-60-70-one-dead
Once more, “Diversity is our Strength” is shown to be the most accurate way to describe mass shootings in Canada:
“Two men, 23-year-old Said Ibrahim and 22-year-old Mohamod Mohamod, were arrested and have been charged with first-degree murder and multiple firearms offences.
Police have additionally issued a Canada-wide warrant for Saed Osman, 27, who is also wanted on a first-degree murder charge.”
https://edmontonjournal.com/news/crime/two-men-charged-with-first-degree-murder-in-ertale-lounge-shooting-police-search-for-third-suspect
Yep. Import third world Muslim barbarians, watch your society become a third world Muslim shithole.
How do you manage the news when this type of incident occurs? You don’t report it. No report about the mass shooting at the websites of CBC Edmonton, the Globe & Mail and Toronto Star.
Is this an incident of Islamophobia?
“Worshippers at a mosque in Mississauga, Ont., were hailed as heroes on Saturday after they tackled and subdued a 24-year-old man who allegedly entered the mosque and attacked people with bear spray.”
The mosque involved and the legacy media want you to think so, but after the headlines, and near the end of the article we discover:
“Police said Mohammad Moiz Omar, a 24-year-old man from Mississauga, was arrested on Saturday. They said they’re considering “all possible motivations,” including hate, for the incident, and charges are pending.”
https://nationalpost.com/news/canada/axe-wielding-suspect-taken-into-custody-after-alleged-mosque-attack-in-mississauga-ont
A guy named Mohammed disrupted a mosque and it is a possible hate crime? Yep, this is Canada where bouncy castles and hot tubs are tools of terrorism.
Since the perp is Muslim, the corporate media will quickly drop its interest.
Another tune about Dear Leader.

Magpie is one of the five finalists.
Tweetie-bird?
The flipping bird..
Magpies are not nice birds. They go after the nests of the smaller birds and are generally obnoxious. They look good, though.
The magpies in my neighbourhood here in Edmonton are frequently having a row with either the crows or the robins.
Every year, or so, we have at least one nesting pair. Starting around Victoria Day, one can hear the kiddies kicking up a fuss as mommy and daddy force them to start looking after themselves. The apartments facing the courtyard of our complex can hear the din, which goes on for several weeks. I don’t mind it, as it’s a bit of fun to see the youngsters in action and I’d listen to them than the neighbourhood brats who run around screaming their heads off.
As for magpies going after smaller birds, I’m inclined to agree with you. I’m sure that’s one reason why the birdhouse in my back yard in Fort St. John hasn’t had any sparrows nesting in it for the past two years.
Many years ago, there was a one-legged magpie in our neighbourhood. He was missing a foot and hopped around on the one he had. It was sad to see him like that, but it didn’t stop him from being a father at least two years in a row.
Yes, they’re bad boys but I like their colorful plumage!
The geese I referred to:

have reclaimed their domain. A few minutes ago, I saw them on top of one of the other high-rises, honking as they looked over their realm.
This morning I noticed some chicadees looking for breakfast from the seeds they buried in my yard. They played tag afterwards.
