Gas Price Watch

I couldn’t find an equivalent map for Canada but this one of America is interesting:

Now Biden has banned all Russian oil imports. Any word about increased oil production in North America. Nope.

This, combined with a newly “fortified” election this November and the dwindling flame of Western democracy will be extinguished.

  1. We are so ****ed! Who’s going to come and save us when we’re all reduced to Ukrainian level tragedy? New Zealand?

    1. Who?

Klaus Schwab and the World Economic Forum to the rescue!
You will own nothing and you will love it!
      (or else)

  2. I put off picking up gas yesterday. It went up from $3.79 to 3.99.

$60.00 for 15 gallons, not even a full tank.

I miss the good old days of a full tanks for less than $40.00.

    F! Joe Biden!

    1. Back in the dark ages people wanted to lynch me because the price at our small town station was 10 cents a gallon higher than the city. And we’re talking gallons, not those puny US gallons.
In litres, that would be about a two cent difference.

  3. gas prices are higher in democrats states, and lower in ” fly over” states that are almost all republican…at least that is what the map shows.

    I wonder why…

    1. State taxes for one, I suppose. Don’t worry, they’re coming for all of us. The good news? We can all ride in Kamala’s electric buses.

    1. Need a couple of good stock horses. I can help you move them down the highway. That will piss off the elites that decide to drive down that way.

    2. Considering what I’ve seen on public transit in Edmonton, livestock would be an improvement.

  4. Just look at California. Lol. Guess what clowns? You get what you vote for. Good and hard.

My only regret in this whole mess is that I didn’t buy Exxon stock back in September 2020 when I had come “this close” to buying a whole bunch (it’s tripled in value since then). I had bought a bunch of Exxon in March 2020, but sold it 3 months later with a nice return. But my God – why didn’t I pull the trigger in Sept 2020?!?! Phooey!

    1. Good question. Canadians bitch and complain but never get off their asses to do anything about it.

      1. Canadians can’t even say the words, we will not comply. They took the shots and are still wearing masks. Nothing has changed except the level of government control, it has gotten worse.

    2. “So what the fuck are you going to do about it?”

Absolutely nothing. The more the fruit loops & whackos who vote for this shit get it in the pocketbook, the better. If $3/litre or more is what it takes to get these bastards to cure their cranio-rectal inversion, so be it.

      Harder, faster!!!

  5. Great reset.
People make plans and God laughs.

That mass of humanity our leaders are terrified of have less and less to lose every day.

  6. A similar map for Canada is on that same link.

BC Lower Mainland is bright yellow for >204.9 cents per litre. The looniest are paying the highest prices.

    1. We’re not all looney, but have to put up with it as well. Our driving is reduced greatly, the prices are awful, but on a personal level, isolated from this impact to a degree, until we go on a trip.
This affects those that can least afford it, who happen to be NDP voters. They’re getting it good and hard.
Headlines in Postmedia this morning, showed Alberta dropping sales tax on gas for about 13 cents a litre, “helping the public”, while NDPBC excuse was “no simple solution” to drop taxes on gas. We know what the NDP stands for, and it isn’t the little guy, despite their hollow rhetoric.
Instead the Dips tell us how they saved ICBC, which reduced premiums, so somehow that makes up for their gouging on gas prices.
So, apparently, the Virtuous Solution is to buy an $80k EV, to replace your $30k car. Economics aren’t the strong suit of yutes and CommieGreen ideologues

  7. High gas prices? Wonderful.

The gang greens get what they’ve been asking.

When was the last time Biden went to a gas station?

Are the Democrats worried about the midterm elections? Nope. They control vote collection and counting in key locations, so why would they worry?

    1. They can always use the crisis to postpone or cancel the midterms. I figure one or two little nukes and that can be arranged.

    2. What they will do is hope that people get “used” to paying huge prices for gas and then when the price of oil drops which would lower gasoline prices, they will take up the slack with taxes. That’s their plan.

      1. All it takes, at least in Canada, is one province or even municipality to not tax as heavily. Now matter what the PTBs do, the Invisible Hand(s) will not be denied. Sadly, if the PTBs are big and bad enough, the Invisible Hand(s) will use nukes, or is hat Happily?

    1. No shit, eh? By the time anybody does anything, we’ll all be in a prison with sweet fa, which is where they want us. Never forget, Canadians would sell their grandchildren into slavery to stop illegal guns from getting into Toronto.

  8. Canadians would sell their grandchildren into slavery to stop LEGAL guns from getting into ANYONES hands!

    Fixed it for you..

    1. There is no such thing as a legal gun in Canada, and Canadians like it that way, the craven cowards that we are. We will ban anything, anytime, on the word of a hysterical woman, because that’s who we are. “Craven” is our middle name, “Coward” our last, and “Fear” our guiding philosophy.

      1. You are correct, I should have stated ANY gun into ANYONES hands.
Without something enshrined, like the 2A, any gun could be banned at any time, for any reason.
A privilege, not a right, as it were.

    1. (i) I assume that the price for gas is far less in Belo Russia, Russia, Venezuela or Saudi Arabia, it was also relatively low just two short years ago (and that still didn’t help much against the machinations of the Democrats). I simply don’t see a direct connection to “freedom” here. Surely high gas prices are bad, but we are unfree because we are unwilling to seriously fight (Newsom, Biden, Trudeau and Putin) not because of those gas prices. There should have been a Million Canadians making a last stand in Ottawa, but even the famous „Viva Frei“ (not to talk about the much promoted but nowhere to be seen “leader” BJ Dichter) could afford to leave the scene and still be in high regard while a few brave lonely souls now suffer the personal consequences, i.e. hang separately. It’s easy to anonymously release steam online, not so easy to fight “the law“ (it tends to win). (ii) I even like the fact that the price is exploding under eco-socialism (like in California). The proverbial frog might still be able to jump out of the green water given the accelerated speed of self-inflicted malaise. If “he” (i.e., the electorate) decides to get willingly boiled for “the Earth” (to be inherited by Russia, China and Islam) no matter what, I kind of respect the sheer religious lunacy.

  9. Don’t forget, happy campers, new carbon tax on gas hikes in April! Let’s save the earth, together!

  10. California always has the highest gas prices because our state government has ridiculous regulations and taxes created in the 1970s and continually expanded since.
