6. I’m a bit confused about a few things in the article. Does VDH actually think dumping arms into Ukraine is not a version of western expansionism? Let’s have china dump arms into Mexico and see how that plays out.
   Ukrainian “heroic resistance”? from what I have seen from alternate sources, these are not the heroes we’re looking for, I certainly don’t want them in my neighbourhood. The civil war in Ukraine has been all but ignored by our governments and media, why? Maybe our deputy prime minister can explain that to me.
   The eastmed pipeline is probably the reason for the Arab Spring but now it is the ethical response to nordstream 2? How many civilians were killed in the Nord2 project? The owners of eastmed will almost certainly surprise no one. This fake energy crisis is likely to promote some kind of “ethiclal energy” to shut down the Putin monster that “they” created but never profited from.
   The catastrophic losses to Russia’s economy have NATO members buying oil through 3rd parties. Bonds between China and India will easily replace the already strained relationship to west europe.
   Jeez I’m sick of what I’m told to pay attention to and sicker yet of the lies I discover when I do look into the provided narrative.

7. I’ve lost VDH as a clear-thinking conservative Historian. Completely lost him. Yes, Putin is the FIRST nuclear (big word) “Irredentist” … and VDH’s answer is for The West to send more weapons to that nuclear power’s enemy? Does VDH actually believe that absent a Congressional declaration of WAR against Putin/Russia … we would not become defacto at-war against Russia? A nuclear weaponed member of the UN Security Council?

   Has VDH gone so thoroughly Putin-woke that he’s lost his bloody mind? Is VDH some crazy kind of Amargeddonist? (my big word). Churchill may have faced buzz bombs and the Luftwaffe … but he never faced a Nuclear armed Hitler. Perhaps even Churchill would have chosen his words more carefully if he had?
