School boards in America are usually elected but unpaid positions. But I’ve learned by watching all the videos of the contested meetings that each school board member Has to have a surety bond. And that’s what the parents are targeting when they sue. Because the school board member is personally liable. So the parents are suing the schools AND going after the school board members who endorse this crap personally.

If you waited until this point to home school, the damage is already done. I know a great deal of teachers who refuse to send their own kids to public schools. The system has been degraded to the point of being detrimental.

Why is this suddenly an issue? When I was growing up, back in the Pleistocene Era, nobody really cared.

I think parents knew and cared about what their kids were taught. But with each succeeding generation parents knew and cared less and less.
Our educational systems putrified at the same rate and for the same reasons as our democracy: the watch keepers fell asleep for 40 or 50 years.
I was a bit vague with my earlier comment. Back then, nobody really cared which way one swung, so long as one kept quiet about it and didn’t hurt anyone else. Whatever one did behind closed doors was really nobody else’s business.

If those genes exist, they haven’t been found.
Then again, how important is it that they be located in the genome? If it was, wouldn’t someone, say, one of those “deviated prevert” organizations, come up with the funding to support such research? Or is the science already been “settled”?
The only argument is that if those genes were to be isolated and identified … then parents would screen for those genes and abort their defective babies. Hence … no one “wants” to find the gene(s) for 2sLGBTQq+/- This is utter nonsense. The Human Genome project mapped all our human genes. There is no “gay gene”. There is no “born that way”. There is only CHOICE. Ask why there is a 2,000% increase in transgender hormone treatments? Answer: CHOICE … driven by media normalization and social acceptance. The HG project did indeed map all of the genes. However, it hasn’t answered questions about how all of them interact or lead to conditions such as Klinefelter Syndrome (males have an extra X chromosome).
The fact that such a gene hasn’t been found could also mean that the means used to look for it may be inadequate.
Personally, I don’t think there is genetic cause for such behaviours.

I like how you carve out an exemption for gays because you have one in the family while declaring all the otherings to be mentally ill.

I don’t want to argue my REAL WORLD tolerance and acceptance of gays and lesbians. I work with and actually LIKE many of them. But since that “sounds” like saying … “some of my best friends are Jews” … I won’t bother.
My Religion does not teach me to HATE them because of their weakness. Or any other human weakness … of which there are MANY hetero weaknesses. But I draw the line at indoctrinating our children. One of the local Christian schools has a gender confused girl who has started an inclusivity club. That school is effectively done now. With federal legislation there is nothing they can do to say LGBTQURD is wrong. It is only a matter of time. Unless the school has strict admission policies they will be sued into bankruptcy. Even then the enemy of Christian morality has the schools in his sights. Age old effort to destroy innocence. It will be the payback for the Salem witch trials.

Ontario private schools have to follow the same curriculum as Ontario public schools. Ontario private schools are simply grooming places for librano elites. Not worth a cent.
Not quite. Only if a school wants to issue a Provincial High School diploma do they need to follow the Ontario curriculum, and that, only for Grade 12 really. Lots of private schools follow other curricula, Christian, Muslim, etc., but also different educational philosphies like Waldorf or Montessori. It’s allowed. Given that you can get into Uni or College on the basis of standardized tests (e.g. SAT, GED), or such as for homeschooled kids a “portfolio” demonstrating their work, it is a myth that you need an Ontario High School diploma.
If my wife and I had school-age children right now we’d either be homeschooling or sending them to the Mennonite school down the road.

I went to a bible thumper school, and it was there I got smart and converted to atheism, as the bullshit they taught was garbage, and many thumpers no longer believe the crap I was taught back then. Private schools teach what the customers want, or they pull their kids out, and the school collapses .
Maybe you were just a bad student. Your post certainly suggests it. At any rate one could certainly argue your schooling failed you.
Grooming with a side order of recruiting new recruits? How many kids did they convince in the UK that they were trans? How many were given chemicals and surgery based on doctors orders? This is a liberal growth industry, kids be damned they have a LGBT organization to grow and it’s easier to recruit confused children than adults. My nephew is gay, when he was in high school the usual LGTBFFFFW@#$R tried to recruit him into some club-my sister went up one side of the school and down the other. She had no problem with him being gay, but was not going to let the gay supremacists turn her son into a cross between imaginary victim and an oppressed person.
And if you’re kids are grown or if you don’t have any, find some little private school and donate to them. Private schools are often shoestring operations run out of church basements and such. They’d really appreciate it if someone would just flip them $50. Internet search will find one near you. Also consider donation to a homeschool legal association like HLDA or similar. They give legal help to homeschooling parents who run afoul of overzealous school board bureaucrats when they go to pull their kids out. Methinks thats likely to become more and more of a problem…
There is an order of nuns in my area who run a kindergarten to Grade One program.
Most women in the area send their kids so they can be churched and learn how to read. They don’t really care other than cheap childcare. There are, however, parents who DO care.
Home-school.
There are plenty of good programs out there to use for syllabi.

You could also donate funds to private schools that you know share your values and teach those. I do that. Of course, I have no children, but donating funds seems to me to be a good idea for those whose children are now in university or no longer in any school.
