    1. I suspect the United States did a ‘false flag’ operation in the Donbass region which would look to be the Russian Governments fault as in Putins speech in the tragedy in that region.
This would be more of a confirmation with the confusing speech by President Biden Administration and the rush by the Russian Federation to make those regions independent and under Russian territory rule.

      https://www.algora.com/Algora_blog/2022/02/24/president-putin-in-his-own-words

The suspicious behavior of Prime Minister Trudeau in invoking his Emergency Powers Declaration and actions seems more suspicious as he seem to have expected President Biden to issue a Declaration of War against Russia for the atrocities in that region. And the confusing speech as Putin put that region under Russian control.
This left both PM Trudeau and President Biden speeches to be totally confusing messages as invoking more sanctions isn’t exactly newsworthy on top of all others being issued.

Without Russian Governments Actions, we would be in a world war.
We have such evil people who really are no words to describe the hatred they invoke in me for no cares about others who are innocent and yet products of propaganda for the right narrative.

      1. @Jojodogfacedboy -“I suspect the United States did a ‘false flag’ operation in the Donbass region”.

I wondered about that as well. I don’t have a side in this fight and wished Russia would get the hell out of Ukraine, but don’t trust our own governments any more than Russia.

That said, I watched the “missile video” around a week ago, where Russia supposedly unprovoked bombed a kindergarten. It’s just that I’m pretty damned sure that I’ve seen that kindergarten in another documentary I watched around 2 years ago or so on the civil war in the Donbass region. The Ukrainian rebels were walking the reporter around for a show & tell. Pretty sure anyway, not 100% positive. Anyway that whole area has been bombed and shelled for over 6 years now, it’s doubtful there are any little kids around there to bomb by this point.

        1. “I wondered about that as well. I don’t have a side in this fight and wished Russia would get the hell out of Ukraine, but don’t trust our own governments any more than Russia.”

          I don’t trust Ukraine.

Ukraine is governed by criminal oligarchs with strong fascist tendencies. Just exactly the sort of people I don’t want to see with nukes, which they have been signaling they want to acquire. Better that they get some adult supervision. Iran is bad enough. We don’t need another rogue nation with nukes.

          1. As far as I can tell there are no good guys in any of it. Ukraine could always conscript Hunter Biden for his expertise as a top Ukrainian oil tycoon on current pipeline management.

Then there is Trudeau, who probably wanted to re-implement Martial Law in Canada once the first bomb fell in Ukraine but somehow got talked out of it.

Yea, they can all go f*ck themselves.

    2. Taiwan is no money laundering operation like Ukraine. Even if Red China can win against Taiwan, the cost would make it a Phyric victory at best. Remember, in the late 1970’s Red China had its ass kicked by Vietnam.

  1. Biden’s war on US energy production gives Russia incredible leverage. The US was self-sufficient in oil under Pres. Trump.

What a schmuck. Why isn’t he and Willie Brown’s hoe impeached- a political hygiene double-header?

The criminal Pelosi could be tee’d up, immediately after.

Their removal is a necessary first step in disciplining the American ruling class, and cleaning up their evil works.

    1. Until Congress and the senate are majority Republican seats, impeachment is DOA.

It will have to wait till the midterms.

And Putin, Xi, and all the rest know that if they are going to act they need to do it before the midterms.

        1. Actually never underestimate the democrats to use any distraction to their advantage and label republicans or anyone not reciting their lines as being political.
Impeachment of Biden would validate everything Trump claimed, and they would fight to their dying breath rather than make that admission.
That’s why impeachment, no matter how obviously necessary it would be will have to wait until the republicans can take control of both houses.
The democrats don’t want to have to take out their own trash.

  2. And putin knows this, the climate agenda has blood on their hands from handcuffing the west’s energy sector. Just show that to Ukraine people and moral will take a hit. The west is being run by pathetic hypocrits. Ukraine is being sacrificed.

    1. All those rubles invested as foreign financial support for our local eco-zealot movements have really paid dividends for Vlad.

    1. When The Fed, The Treasury, The Banking regulators … and every financial bureaucracy in the US are being mobilized and weaponized against every fossil fuel company doing business in American dollars … yeah … I’d call that treason.

But a majority of American people have been convinced they are baaaad mmmkay when they use baaaad fossil fuels … so nobody will notice when our nation goes bankrupt, and we cannot afford the Yuan. We will all be begging the ChiComs for crumbs … and we’ll like it.

      1. Bad fossil fuels and BAD carbon dioxide. Hey you guys worried about COsub2, take a deep breath, now hold it, stop exhaling and polluting the world!

  3. Never trust a Russian. If you give them any advantage over you, they will exploit it mercilessly.

And Europe volunteered to be dependant on them for energy.

But will Biden’s regime understand the Long Game? Nope. Time for applesauce and blaming Trump.

  4. I am still waiting for the first editorial or column that will show (with a map) how NATO’s push right up to Russia’s backyard over the last couple decades might, just might, have pissed Russia a little. Some balance is in order; not everything is black or white, people.

    1. Turkey? In NATO? WTF?
One of these things is different from the other ones … one of these things is different from the other ones …
Some things I learned watching Sesame Street.

Oh! And I learned that that Mr. NATO walks around in high heels … and that should be “celebrated”

    2. A lot of those countries that joined NATO did so willingly as opposed to being handed over as a thank you during WWII.

If Putin doesn’t like it, blame Russian history. Which he just proved again.

If Putin doesn’t like it stop treating the people badly. Give those countries a reason to join not run.

Putin’s like the Canadian bankers with an army behind it.

There’s no trust. And without trust you do not rule without the consent of the governed.

      WE THE PEOPLE. It’s not 1775, it’s 2022.

Which is why vile progressives and Democrats have to lie about what they are and what they want to do because if they actually told you, they’d never win office again in most parts of the world.

Then they’re forced to steal elections on a massive scale which in turn allows other bad people in the world to test boundaries.

      And here we are.

He needs help with China this was not the way to get the help.

      1. Great points made at the start of your post. allow me to briefly elaborate: all those countries joined NATO because they feared the Siberian Mongols. Those who joined are relatively safe now. Those who did not, have Pootinista boots on their soil (Moldova, Ukraine Georgia).

        Russia is cancer.

        1. No absolutely not. Not one iota.

None isolated Russia. Russia isolated itself.

A state of permanent siege helps Pootin keep the populace complaint. Hence the manufactured wars in Chechnya, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. All completely unnecessary and economically costly. All brought forth to divert attention of the rabble. Russian leader has to be cruel and ruthless but has to give the mongrels and outlet. Otherwise mongrels will turn on him.

  5. Translation

The big guy can’t fund Hunter’s creature comforts on a POTUS salary and therefore we can’t jeopardize Burisma’s business model.

    1. Ok…
“Ukraine has been a satellite operation for the U.S. State Department for approximately 15 to 20 years. The U.S. has held control over Ukraine, and manipulated every political outcome inside Ukraine, for well over a decade.”

Things are not so just because you say it.
Where is the concrete information/data that supports this statement?

      1. Let’s see. Joe Biden threatened to withhold American aid unless the Ukrainian prosecutor that was investigating Burisma (Hunters cash cow) for corruption was fired. Ukraine has been Biden Crime Family turf for years. That’s all I got without doing some digging.

        1. America threatened Russia by laundering $B’s in U.S. taxpayer dollars through Ukraine … and son of a bitch … Putin invaded Ukraine. To paraphrase Joe Bidinh.

Sorry Joe, this time Corn Pop wins. Well, TBF … because this is the REAL world.

          1. … making Ukraine beholden to a US Democrat President (and GOPe Senators) on Russia’s doorstep is a geopolitical threat. It’s one thing for the US to give aid … it is quite another thing for several KEY American politicians to be shaking-down Ukraine for kickbacks … laundered through legitimate businesses, etc. … and then that same President pushes for Ukraine to join NATO. Ukraine is hardly a “Democracy” and it is corrupt as hell. Does that mean Russia should invade and TAKE a Sovereign State? Of course not. But Bidinh has been reckless with his crimes in Ukraine … he has lit the match of Russian aggression … and then had NO IDEA what to do about it. And remember … Trump was IMPEACHED over a phone call that attempted to put an end to this Bidinh scam. How backward is America’s deep state and GOPe? Very, very, very backward … very dangerous

          2. Biden has been incompetent yes. Absolutely. But he did not lit any matches.

Pootin was planning this move for a long time and cynically used western support of Ukraine as an excuse. Ukraine could have declared itself a Finland of the south and it would not matter. He would still announce that he needed to “denazify” them. Pootin’s end game for Ukraine is the same as for Belarus, i.e. an impotent puppet stat. He will take nothing less and Ukraine could not have done something differently to prevent it.

People need to stop trying to look for causes of this conflict where they do not exist. The causes are simple: Pootin and russia. He had an opportunity and used it. He was never threatened in any way. Russia is like cancer. Russia has two modes: spreading itself or fighting for survival. Just like with Chicoms, and just like cancer it is absolutely impossible to peacefully coexist with russia. It really is that simple.

        2. Arty, agreed, that is one good example – what else?
(“satellite operation”, “control over”, “manipulated every political outcome”)

      2. That quoted statement would be true if “US” was replaced with “russia” and “State Department” with “kremlin”.

    2. My opinion in this case is that this conflict is just another gang war between criminals.
Vlad concerns are coincidental to routing out one bunch in favour of his bunch.

Everything goes smoothly until someone thinks they got shorted or they think someone got more than they deserved.

Aide:”President Putin look at news, Hunter Biden helped get sweetheart deal for millions”
Putin:”dagski!! That pig, he only offered to cut me in for a quarter of dat. Quick, get me horsehead to deliver to him.”

  6. President Putin has made very clear what the consequences would be if the Empire of Lies does anything of substance to stop the liberation of Lesser Russia. Thermonuclear war.

Chrystia was triggered by the sight of what a few truckers did to downtown Ottawa for a few weeks (reduce crime to near zero, clean the streets properly, organize a truly family-friendly celebration of British liberty).

So I don’t think she’d appreciate Putin’s approach to urban re-development in Ottawa or Toronto.

A credible threat of ensuring that there will be consequences for plotting genocide—namely, the destruction of the financial capitals of the Empire of Lies—is the only thing that gets the globalists to do the sensible thing.

Note that China is butting out too. Xi Jinping values his life and knows Putin isn’t a western politician he can bribe or compromise at will.

    Something else.

Someone asked if I was serious. I have never been more so in my life.

Look at who is weeping crocodile tears for Ukraine—all the same people who hate you and want you dead and want to teach your children to hate you and allow perverts to groom them for rape.

One of them called it the end of the liberal world order.

If so, I thank Almighty God.

Someone the Empire of Lies can’t co-opt, silence or intimidate is finally starting the hard work of destroying the Empire so his country might live.

And don’t forget—the Empire rules in the interest of nobody, except for a few thousand immensely rich psychopaths. Their agenda is a recipe for human extinction, and it’s becoming increasingly unclear whether that’s a side-effect or the entire point.

Everybody here should be rejoicing and dancing in the streets.

    We are going to live.

Live to see the Empire destroyed.

Live to see our grandchildren grow up in a world where they can look forward to being something more than debt- and tax-slaves.

Live to see traitors and thieves and thugs and globalists and pedophiles brought to justice, first in Lesser Russia, then in all of Europe.

You know the smile you get on your face when you watch a video of a limp-wristed leftie getting his clock cleaned by a real man? This is that multiplied by a factor of several hundred thousand. I’ve never been so happy.

And the Empire is going to get far more than a bloody nose. Mother Russia and her sons are gearing up to slice off the shame of the Empire, before disemboweling it and setting its carcass on fire.

The Empire has signed its own death warrant. It’s going to fucking hurt. And it ought to.

And yes, if a few “diverse and vibrant” slums in the West need to be cleared in the interest of destroying the Empire, so much the better.

If Japan can rebuild, so can we. Loosed from bondage, the people who built the West will in truth be able to build back better—to build cities that people who work for a living and believe in God can live in and take real pride in.

I live within walking distance of Parliament. I doubt I’ll feel a thing. I’m ready. I have nothing to lose. Neither do you.

    1. Agreed. Read the article at the link I posted just seconds before you added yours. Ukraine has been the Woke States wet dream. Vlad has had enough.

    2. … Live to see our grandchildren grow up in a world where they can look forward to being something more than debt- and tax-slaves…..

Your choices were armed camps like the old world, islamofascism, or Chinese communism.

      Pax Americana is dead.

The problem is for about 75 years it has been relatively peaceful. Humanity has not come that far. All you have to do is look at Trudeau; there was no difference between Trudeau and pharaoh of 5000 years ago.

Evil is on the move and it also now comes in the face of the WEF. They’re going to turn us into tax and wage and kids into sex slaves as fast as they can.

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

  7. Of course Russia can turn off the tap if it wants to. Go ahead and sanction them and see what kind of reprisal they’ll initiate.

    1. Fuel and guns are the only things that russia has that anyone wants. They can’t afford to turn off the tap. Besides Europe quickly become energy sufficient if they wanted to. They’d just have to ignore (the often sponsored by Kremlin) watermelons. Europe will have no choice in the long run but to do it anyway.

  8. Damn Putin,they say.
    “Why won’t he cooperate?”

We need a war to distract the plebs from how ruined the nations are.”
Our Parasitic Overload are using the same old game plan.

    Steal until the taxpayer squeals.
    Criminalize Dissent.
    Attack the citizenry.
Declare war on some other nation..
Use “War Time Emergency” powers to destroy all who resist the Kleptocracy..
While stealing beyond all hope of repair or payment.

My father served 5 years resisting/destroying Hitler and Friends..At the end of his life,he stated”I think we were shooting the wrong people”..
Slowly I have come to comprehend that wisdom.

This Russia Russia Russia theatre is so fake and stupid, that only a Liberal /Democrat could fall for it.
Putin makes me laugh,he is mocking and trolling these fools and bandits, yet has never underestimated their malice and evil..
Kind of sad,for us, to see Russia as “Leader of the Free World”.
For these Globalist Clowns are far more evil that the the old soviet they seem to so love..

“We have seen the enemy,he is us”.

  9. Are these people idiots? What goes through their heads? The North american educatin system is a joke, if these “highly educated experts” are what they produce.

    1. This is what happens when Harvard started skewing their admissions away from core competence, intelligence, and ability and took only the most radical average intellects they could find. And then all these simpleton grads get jobs in the US Deep State.

But keep telling yourselves that Trump is rude, Trump is rude, Trump is rude … compared to this sweet-speaking bureaucrat know-nothing. Thousands of years ago, The Bible … HELL … the OLD Testament!! WARNED to beware of people who tickle your ears but do evil. If for no other reason … we might want to teach The Bible in our schools again. Then, our collective bullshit radar might be a little finer tuned.

      1. That is precisely why the Left is working to ban it. Oh, and it looks badly at alphabet life-forms.

  10. The Europeans, foolishly, made themselves overly dependent on Russia for energy, now let them suffer all the consequences by themselves. Canada should withdraw all of its troops from Europe and stop all foreign aid to the Ukraine.

  11. When do the accusations of genocide and crimes against humanity begin in order to gin up support for western intervention?

  12. Wonder if Germany and the others would get any smarter if the Ukrainians blew the pipelines sky-high?

  13. “We will do nothing to impede the financing we have arranged so Vlad can afford to engage in war in Ukraine.” – Biden administration.

  14. Always keep in mind that nobody in the West – particularly Europe – cares at all about Ukraine.
“If Putin wants it, he can have it”. The most important thing is to keep the energy flowing.
At Germany’s behest the EU has now redefined natural gas as ‘green’, so it’s all good.
The EU also has hundreds of billions invested in Russia that needs to be protected.
Nothing will be done, nobody cares, there’s nothing to see, go back to sleep.

    Just remember …
“Russian oil = good, Canadian oil = bad”

    1. Oh God, how many more of the schizophrenic “We made them do it” articles do we have to suffer through until we realize the obvious truth. Pootin was going to keep pushing until he got his war. The war was Pootin’s objective from the start. He will try to wrap it up quickly, and declare victory.

He is probably surprised by the tenacity and effectiveness of Ukrainian defense that exacting a much heavier toll on the Siberians than expected. But I doubt it will change anything in the long run. He will annex parts of Eastern Ukraine into russia and set up a puppet government in Kiev. His long run objective is to reduce Ukraine to the status of Belarus.

      1. Zelensky is ordering all able-bodied men between 18 and 60 to commit suicide by Russian. Fathers are being pulled off busses west by armed Nazi thugs, and being forced to choose between summary execution or going to the front to die. Forget your wife, forget your daughter! Fight for Ukraine!

Zelensky would not be doing this if he had any realistic objective beyond a mass murder-suicide that could be pinned on Putin.

Hitler faced eternal punishment with more dignity.

        1. Yes Ukraine is being invaded by a subhuman rapist horde with a history of repeated absurd barbarity on Ukrainian soil. So yes, Ukrainians are doing their duty and fighting back. Just like Croats did in 1991. Just like Poles did in 1939-45. Just like Israelis did in on repeated occasions. Just like Spartans.

“Russian warship, go fuck yourself.” ~ the last words of the Ukrainian hero defending Snake Island.

          1. The smart Ukes are running for their lives.

Again: they are being pulled out of cars and busses heading west by jackbooted thugs, and informed that if they are not willing to die for globalism, they will be murdered in front of their wives and daughters.

How dare you compare Zelensky’s thugs to Zionists. The actual Israelis have told the little kapo to go to Amalek.

          2. Easy, Israel was defending herself from a rapist turd world horde, Ukraine is defending herself form a rapist turd world horde. See how it works? You’re welcome. Even the level of personal hygiene among the hordes is comparable.

The only meaningful difference is that Arabs were sober and tended to carry less venereal disease.

  15. Now, if only China could see:
    – a substantial amount of Russia’s military is tied up in Ukraine;
    – there’s a lot of resource wealth in Siberia;
    – we need those resources; and
    – our army is bigger than Russia’s.

This was the scenario in the Tom Clancy book ‘The Bear and the Dragon’

    1. Although, I must say chicoms and russians wiping each other out would be a greatest outcome possible.

  16. the LCBO carries 6 Vodkas identified as russian….
these 6 vodkas are from 3 vendors of which 1 is actually russian…

so the liberal plan is to take those vodkas off the shelf, which the LCBO has already paid for, and do what with them?

  17. Russians tend to look at Ukraine as Russia with better weather. As we know, Putin is more or less the grand guarantor for the Russian oligarchs, he presided over a sort of in-house revision of communism to a new form without socialist ideology but the same model of powerful thugs running everything mainly for their own profit, then an underclass lapping up what was left over.

And really, Ukraine was lurching along the same path, and we could presume there was plenty of overlap between the two sets of oligarchs. Now along comes Zelensky, a Russian speaker, and a young upstart, it would be like having Jimmy Fallon as president. He was running an anti-corruption campaign which was slowly reducing the unlimited power of Ukrainian oligarchs. And it was popular. Imagine Putin looking on, thinking to himself, what if there’s a Zelensky here in Russia some place?

I have the feeling Putin tried on several occasions to have Zelensky and key advisors assassinated, but that didn’t work, maybe this invasion will work instead. And then the oligarchs can get back to plan A without anyone trying to cramp their style.

Putin would never have tried this stunt with Trump in office, but after the Afghanistan fiasco, he probably figured Biden was so weak that he would not oppose effectively. And so far he seems to be correct about that. However, like other tyrants, Putin does not listen to advice, he tells advisors what they must advise to remain in his good graces. Stalin didn’t even bother playing that game, although Hitler did. So Putin has convinced himself that his Soviet post-war internal dialogue, so irrelevant to people born after about 1970, will govern events in this invasion, and he will rid Kiev of the neo-Nazis (by which he really means anti-Soviets) and replace them with good partisans (by which he means operatives). He also figured most people in Ukraine would want to be “liberated” from Zelensky so they could return to the Soviet afterglow that Putin likes to cultivate, which has only limited popularity even in Russia.

He probably wasn’t expecting this much resistance. But he may still prevail simply because of nuclear blackmail. The move into Chernobyl was pure theatre, it was meant to suggest in some odd way that Russia now had control of some “dirty nuclear stuff” so that augmented the already present nuclear deterrent in the face of anyone at NATO h.q. who might be trying to figure out how to oppose Russia without starting WW-III. That cannot be done, and now that Putin has signalled he is not going to be remotely sensible Vlad the enigma, but Mad Vlad the Invader, the nuclear deterrent looks even stronger to an outsider.

A man approaching seventy with little to lose other than the good life he has constructed by being patron saint of oligarchs — who would trust him not to take half the world with him to the grave? What is his motive for being sensible when this mad adventure could bring him what he has been after all along, reconstruction of the Soviet Union. He has Belarus, he has some leverage in Kazakhstan, and probably other former republics as well, but he needs to add Ukraine to make it all good. And he clearly couldn’t give a toss what anyone in the west thinks of him. Why should he? They already froze him out of the new world order, so they have no “hand” as George Costanza might say.

  18. Good news.

The Canadian government has established a Ukraine matching fund (GoFundMe?). For every dollar Canadians contribute the government will match (with taxpayers money) up to a maximum of 10m.

Once you contribute expect your bank to lock your account.

  19. Every anti-oil and anti-pipeline protester and activist has blood on their hands today.
    Energy is a weapon.

    Ask them about it.

  20. Scot Moe points out the obvious. The walking brain dead (aka liberals) come out to condemn him. Killing mother Gaia or some other BS communist utopian is more important to them. Everyone of the walking brain dead should be forced to live in their utopia for one week.

    1. Don’t worry if you run out of Stoly just drop a dead mouse into a bottle of Finlandia, Absolut or Wyborowa and you’re done.
