    1. What kind of fool thinks that climate change is new, or can be controlled by humans?

      Learn some science, you young-earther!

  1. Funny….I just sent this to a few friends tonight. This was not the lyric’s intent, but my take-away was that there is a huge wellspring of anger in this country.
    And the levee will break.
(I admit, I initially clicked on it because of JPJ, but there are some great other musicians on it, and he is gracious enough to lend his fame to put them in the spotlight.)

    1. I concur. That also was my initial response. The levee has broken in Canada. It is now a fight for survival. Not the ‘Nation of Canada’, but for the people that built this land.
As for the ‘Nation of Canada’, it no longer exists.

    1. You know marc, I think you’re right. The HELL with Canada, a land of freedom-hating catamites.

      Honk honk! 😀

    1. What a happy uplifting scene, thanks for this. And thanks to the protesters too. Great way to end my day. 🙂

  2. We are the World is back. The musicians are again planning to donate most of their wealth. This time to alter the climate. Where the Hell is Bono on this one?

    1. Fight climate change? They can stick their heads up my ass and fight for air. 😀

    2. Do what they do, not what they say. They are big on conspicuous consumption of fossil fuels as a way of raging against the coming of the Ice that will rend and destroy Canada. Follow them, vow to do your best the have the same carbon footprint as Al Gore.

    3. I’d be far more impressed if they donated all their wealth NOW instead of using it on their carbon heavy projects. Stop planning, like they’re saying, the time is NOW. Bunch of hypocrites.

  3. Hey, don’t take it too seriously.
It was a good rendition of a classic Zep tune featuring one actual member of the boys, namely JPJ, classic bass player. It didn’t hurt to have Derek Trucks sliding on his guitar along with his wife, Susan, on vocals.
Interpret the lyrics as you see fit, or just rock along and thank them for showcasing some other good players.

  4. I play bass and when I had a band we played some Led Zeppelin

I consider John Paul Jones one of the best bass player in the world and I love Led Zeppelin music.

    but having said that,

that video looks a bit like a leftist / woke propaganda thing

lots of diversity, images of global warming, the focus is mainly on black people etc etc lots of leftist stuff there

it looks like John Paul Jones might also suffer from a bit of white guilt too…

  5. Sounded great. Susan Tedeschi is awesome but I’m betting they’re all a bunch of commies who support Brandon and Turds and I’d hate them if I had to talk with them and hear their BS. Prove me wrong.

  6. Not a fan of these cobbled together mash-ups of songs performed “remotely” featuring Zoomed in celebrities Imagine , but damn, this was pretty good.
By the way, how is it JPJ still looks relatively hale and hearty as opposed to his former mates Page and Plant? Not mucking about Aleister Crowley might have something to do with it 🙂

  7. These guys are from the South thomas.

Nobody needs to prove you wrong – you can do it all by yourself.

  8. I think it’s a cheap cover. And I’d be willing to bet a fair amount that nobody is from the south. (shrug)
