The Coutts “Raid”

CTV Calgary  -Mounties have released some pictures of what they got.

Word is truckers are making a tactical withdrawal  from the Coutts border crossing tonight and tomorrow. They think the guns were a set-up by some bad actors but it looks bad enough that they want to distance themselves from it. Will probably take a breather, regroup and reappear elsewhere. Which hurts Trudeau’s power grab in the meantime. Why the emergency powers when the biggest group just dispersed and the Alberta border is open?

  1. CTV Calgary advanced the narrative that the freedom blockade brought weapons. They won’t correct that. Nothing but presstitute bastards.

    1. Is it just me or does it all smell like one giant entrapment Fast and Furious style? Meant to discredit the protesters and validate Potato’s Marshal Law?

  2. So in other words, it is still more mostly peaceful than a typical BLM riot? And none of those scary weapons were actually used. Some idiots just brought them?

      1. The one question I have is how did the RCMP know to go the location, and they said it was in a trailer heading towards the blockade.

        1. The story being put out is that there was some kind of traffic incident involving a cop car, and the cops followed the ‘perp’ back to this home in question. To be honest I didn’t notice a mention of a trailer but maybe a semi?

      2. Mike; that’s a Hell of an armoury for a ‘kid’. There’s thousands of $$$’s invested there.
Drug money? Who else needs or wants that much weaponry? I didn’t notice any classy hunting rifles.
        Not your average rancher’s choices?

        1. Dan, the key question at this point is whether you choose to believe the CTV reporting is telling the whole truth and that those weapons were actively at the border crossing.

Key words for me, “access to…”. I think they are trying to tie something unrelated to the peaceful protests, because I don’t think CTV news would recognize the truth if it punched them repeatedly in their tiny, little, shriveled, identifying-as-lesbian-but-still-not-getting-close-to-a-real-woman balls.

There are many flavours of nut, but the displayed armoury should be well within the price range of someone who has held a real job (including running a real farm) for more than 2 years.

        2. Yet all of those AR-15’s are as common as dirt. It just looks scary to the insulated government folk living in Ottawa

          1. Potato prohibited ARs two years ago and owners are required to turn theirs in by May this year…. surely a coincidence.

  3. As I’ve said elsewhere these people are Canadian hero’s. Know I could not have done it for I shiver doing my driveway in southern Ontario. Sheite is going to happen. The spark has been lit by the brave folks that held the line.

Canadians need to do their part by speaking out on the streets or social media platforms.

  4. Anything from ctv, the rcmp, Kenney et al I will assume to be lies – including the words “and” and “the”.

  5. Amazing how the RCMP knew all about it. They are the smartest people on the block. It is like they had all this information in advance. Wrapped it all up presented the evidence patted themselves on the back. Wow congratulations. No conspiracy here just move along folks.

  6. The “gaslit arrest” coincidentally timing with the Emergency Act announcement today.
Of course all the alleged perps will have their day in court.
Notably “guilt by association” is not a logical nor legal principle; but it makes for lurid headline reading.

Or as the Marx Brothers noted, “If you don’t like my principles, I have others!”

“Conspiracy to attempt to commit murder” is going to be drawing a fairly long bow.

I am going to assume the “Royal Canadian Migrant Porters” were wiretapping the hell out of all the 13 alleged perps long running conspiracy communications.

So no shots fired…and is their paperwork in order?

    Cheers

  7. It’s over. The guns will be used to justify the EM. But if you listened to the press conference they basically told you the game plan. Freeland is grabbing control of tbe financial systems and controls. The banks are to turn over data and freeze accounts etc etc. That was the game plan. They don’t need the army. So 99 percent of canadian are going to be happy see no army. All good. They have powers they need. Now they can let up on some the covid mandates and declare victory. Go to vote. Majority.
God we play right into it. They checkmated us. The people behind this are good. Years of planning. We did throw them off for 2 weeks. Something to be proud of.

The gov gun grabs are going to be huge.

We will be able to goto work without a mask

    Travel will be more expensive

The only question is Trudeau around in a year or replaced.

    1. “It’s over.”

Not. Even. Close. You giving up, Bob? I’m not.

We haven’t even shifted into second yet. You do not poke the bear.

  8. And so it begins.
Having suckered the idiot into declaring bouncy castles are a national emergency, except in the following Provinces, wait? What?
And self expose the terror running through our parasitic overload..
The Truckers can afford to pull out.
Three or four weeks of R&R.
    Stress Break..
Of course they cannot deliver freight in any of the Provinces buying in to the “National, except in these provinces Emergency”,because their safety and welfare is at risk.
    It is a safety issue.
For should any independent need additional funds from home, while inside a “National Emergency Province”,they risk having those funds seized and their loved ones imprisoned,by a demented government.
So delivery to the NEPs cannot be done, under the health and safety act.
Ditto assisting the police, violation of workplace safety laws, risking a million dollar fine and a year in jail.
Can Ahh Duh has so many laws, rules and regulations that we can find so many ways to “help” our government minions.
Currently our presstitutes are beating the drums of victory.
Wait until they find out what they have won.
The Guns of the Border,a magnificent work of fiction written by our state lackeys.
Why do they call murderous battles inside a countries borders”Civil War”.
For there has never been anything civil about them.
And most were caused by fools and bandits who crept into positions of authority.
Just as this one, which we see developing, started by fools and bandits with delusions of adequacy..
    Strange thing.
If a politician feels they have no other path, but to set aside constitutional law, then they have failed as a politician.
Yet instead of resigning as soon as they recognize their failure, they all go to attack the tax payer.
And now we have the spectacle of a lawless bunch of thugs, insisting that they be protected from the citizens, under the same laws they set aside.

As for the RCMP,how many of these conspirators are on the government payroll?
    And their obsession with guns..
If you have the mindset, everything becomes a weapon.
Now the Government has stated they are throwing their full “might” at the Truckers,I suspect the trades will be joining the party,.
For we have always respected truckers far more than Many Ticks.
Trucking is a trade, taking a real apprenticeship and requiring the mastery of multiple skills.
many of which, failure to master will kill you.
Yet the Can’t Do Nothing Experts, insist it is “Unskilled Work”.

The joke is on the parasites.
We never needed them.We will all be richer from their absence.
They however cannot survive without us.
    Good Days Indeed.

  9. Actually you would be surprised how many people have acquired that amount of firearms primarily because of the fear of the governments stated objective to “acquire” them. And don’t forget the dull tool came out with the same policy. No proof – but statements on what happened have been inconsistent and the rcmp woman giving one press interview was having difficulty articulating her story which indicates to me she was having difficulty articulating the “truth”. Anyway , if you are wanting to smuggle guns into such a protest it is obvious the first thing you want to do is run through a police barricade. It is very useful for them to paint people as criminals and of course the media will try and convict the protesters without question.

  10. “Good Days Indeed.”

Damn straight. Let’s see how hungry the fuckers get in the next few weeks ’cause Ontario is an unsafe space for truckers. Let’s see how long their vehicles run without replacement batteries, tires, repairs. Let’s see how long the precious car factories stay open with nothing to assemble. Let’s see the MP’s face thousands of angry constituents when they come home because they didn’t cancel this shit immediately. I told Bob above, we haven’t even shifted into second yet.

  11. I see 5 WK180s, a Norinco T97, a Kriss Vector, 3 hunting rifles, 2 lever guns and a shotgun. None are prohibited. 13 legal rifles. Global TV said “dozens” of illegal firearms. I’m disappointed…but not surprised.

  12. Trudeau won the Narrative today. No matter what the truth is, he won the narrative

13 rifles, shotguns and modern sporting rifles plus a few handguns? I knew lots of people my age that had similar and larger collections by age 20. Nothing unusual here in America. I bet you could find a larger collection in most of the rural homes in Minnesota. (I wish I did start collecting back in the 1970s. Firearms generally appreciate quite well.)

A large stash of Ammo? How many of you buy a box or two whenever it is available? If it is available? I know people that shoot a thousand rounds a month regularly. If you don’t have 200-300 rounds for each gun? Why? A gun without ammo is an awkward club or useless paperweight.

How did they find the “Arsenal?” Likely the guy or guys had it in his/their farm or house or whatever for years. Lots of friends or neighbors probably knew about it for months or years, well before the protests started. Since the protests started a few weeks ago, I bet the RCMP or local cops have been told to lean on all their snitches hard for anything on Coutts and the surrounding area. Someone snitched, maybe a friend of an acquaintance, of a relative of a guy that saw the guns a few years ago? Maybe one of those arrested previously? Maybe someone in Coutts or drinks in a Coutts bar that has a criminal charge pending, or is on probation or parole? Maybe some loudmouth drunk talking shit at the cops? Who knows? I don’t.

All of the above does not matter. No matter what the truth really is, what matters is TODAY’S narrative of a dangerous arsenal in Coutts and 10, no 12, now 13 arrested. Trudeau got his narrative. Mission Accomplished.

    1. I missed the handguns. No, nothing there is unusual about those guns in Canada either. Would not be out of the ordinary for any gun enthusiast.

    2. “Trudeau got his narrative.”

The only people going to believe said narrative are Tick Tock Trudles’ fluffers who already believe the truckers are terrorists who wave Nazi & Confederate flags around and deface monuments & statues. Anybody who knows anything about firearms & can count will know the MSM story is shit. Throw in the fact that the Queen’s Horsemen don’t exactly have a stellar reputation as far as firearms are concerned? Net gain=zero.

Personally, I’m far more likely to believe this was a set up. I don’t trust them.

  13. I recall High River those who breaking into houses to confiscate guns definitely are willing to plant them in another situations.

    1. How many of those guns are the same as the ones seized in High River, were they all returned or where they “stored” for later use. The RCMP kept a copy of the gun registry, they would be stupid not to, and would know where all the gun collectors lived anyway so no one would have to snitch. I think the QPP kept a copy as well from comments out of the La Belle Province. Since all the guns were legal in Canada this is going to be hard to prosecute, especially if the handguns were registered. The timing was very suspicious and I am sure that if there was a similar gun collector in Ottawa he would have had a midnight visit as well. The police haven’t covered themselves in glory and have been caught in several illegal acts, maybe we should be appealing to the UN for protection from our Gov’t.

  14. Well done by protesters, it’s not a sprint, it is a marathon. Recent interviews with convoy organizers remain steadfast with holding the line. They are not phased. Take a moment and just ask yourself , where Trudeau would go unabated. HE WOULD TAKE EVERYTHING FROM YOU !

  15. I suspect the RCMP did a search on the gun registry using “Coutts, Alberta” and “prohibited weapons.” Then they went and kicked in some poor bastards door. All of the weapons are likely legal. Prohibited weapons aren’t illegal per se, just severely restricted. If you already own prohibited weapons you can buy more of the same class. Body armour is legal for anyone with a gun license. There are a lot of gun collectors with a lot more guns. You can only use them one at a time but you can clean then and admire them day and night. I’m guessing 99.99% of legal gun owners have never fired a shot in anger.
