    It stars Richard Thomas (before he was in The Waltons), Catherine Burns, and Desi Arnez, Jr. It also has an excellent supporting cast with Richard Crenna, Claire Bloom, Harry Guardino, Nehemiah Persoff, and John Colicos.

    Bravo showed it every few weeks about 20 years ago, back before that channel became the home of CTV’s re-runs. I hadn’t seen it since then and, after watching it earlier this evening, I had forgotten how good it is. Oddly enough, it didn’t do well in North America.

    This is one movie I’m hoping that TCM will eventually show.

    By the way, Burns and Thomas worked together about a year earlier in the movie Last Summer (also with Barbara Hershey and Bruce Davison). She didn’t make many theatrical films, with most of her screen credits were for her television work.

    1. Just a heads-up if you decide to watch it. The sound cuts out for about a minute during the opening credits and about half-way through.

    Since everyone, loudly demands tank pr0n (and by everyone I mean none, and by loudly I mean quietly, and by demands I mean does not care), I give you White Tiger: WWII Eastern Front a miraculously saved russian tank driver with amnesia hunts a demonic German Tiger tank. The film is really much better than this summary, and cinematography is top notch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=soRIjIJAUfA&t=38s Yes, it has subtitles, but give it a try, the mixture of WWII history and horror (I suppose) mystery really works.

    3. I just finished watching it. It was OK up to about the mid-point with the battle, but then it seemed to go off the rails, losing its thread. I thought that there would be a final blow-out between the Soviet machine and the mystery tank, which would have given the movie a satisfactory ending.

      The tank action, however, was superb, comparable with what was in, say, Patton.

    1. I now assume that EVERY legacy media story is created or approved within the PMO. Of course, not every one is. My assumption keeps me much less surprised. and disappointed.

    2. NR, I personally will consider this over when I can get in my car and drive coast to coast, without vaxxes, passports or government interference of any kind. When no one is given a shot of anything on government health bureaucrats say so. When I no longer see assholes wearing masks and children playing at school without some idiot policing them, forcing mask wearing while outside playing. When the government stops telling me I have to sign my name to get a hair cut, by the way, a phony name and phone number. When I can go into my favorite pub, if he ever gets to re-open, and drink beer with the few friends that I have who are still alive. NR, it all has to stop, every single mandate, every jot and tittle. NO MORE FUCKING WHU WHO FLU CRAP.

It will be the key to tracking everyone and their friends and controlling the new digital world currency. EVERYTHING else is SMOKE and MIRRORS. The vaccine passport is a large part of the WEF Great Reset.
