Ontario needs to “reassess the value” of the COVID-19 vaccine passport system in the coming weeks to decide if it should be ended, the province’s top doctor says.
Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Kieran Moore made the comment on Thursday, saying while the COVID-19 vaccine offers significant protection against severe disease, two doses doesn’t do much to limit the spread of transmission.
“The vaccine isn’t providing significant benefit at two doses against the risk of transmission, as compared to someone unvaccinated,” Moore said. “We have to reassess the value of the passports in the coming weeks and months.”

Scott Moe knows this and is finally saying so (to his credit) — and Ryan Meile knows this. Which is why Meile never cites the data when he states Moe is “lying about the data”. The media doesn’t cite the data when they trot out their favourite NDP mouthpieces knowing they’ll parrot Meile’s accusations. What a pathetic clown world we live in.
The passports should be the first to go. First the lockdowns, and now the passport policy has punished the same small businesses again and again and again, and it’s simply untenable.

And the case numbers for the “unvaccinated” include those who are still within 21 days of their first jab. Other research has found that Covid cases spike spectacularly in the first few days after that first shot, and that as many as 46% of the “unvaxxed” cases represent those one-shot folks.
That is more than a little dishonest, and paints the completely unvaxxed as being as bad as the vaxxed in terms of cases. If the numbers were clearly presented, as they would have to be in a court case, those unvaxxed would likely amount to 9 or 10% of the cases, not 16%.
Let alone the unvaxed numbers include children under 5 that can not receive the jab yet. (Thank goodness!)

The wording Moore uses, “two doses doesn’t do much to limit the spread of transmission” and “The vaccine isn’t providing significant benefit at two doses against the risk of transmission, as compared to someone unvaccinated”, leaves open the possibility of three dose passports.
With an Ontario election looming and the NDP and Liberals breathing down Ford’s neck, that 3-dose possibility will remain there until he unequivocally says the passports (and other restrictions) are done.
Unfortunately, I’m not hopeful.

Ontario’s probably lying about their data as well. About 75% in the hospital are fully vaxxed. The ICU data is split 50/50 and has been that way the entire month. Deaths were flat for 6 months since last June running single digits daily. Through January they’ve spiked to 50-90 daily. Ages 40 and up are over 90% fully vaxxed. Unless half the ICU patients are 5- year-olds I don’t know how you get 50% in ICU unvaxxed. I don’t understand how the same daily case numbers that were in our face showing that the vaccine works, starting with the pie chart, then the rate per 100,000 bar graph, is now not accurate because the vaccinated are more likely to seek out a PCR test. But they never provide evidence this is happening.

Case in point:
Any reasonable person, having spent even an hour reviewing pictures, videos and stories from downtown Ottawa, would conclude that the ‘Nazi’ story is bunk. 2 photos. One taken on an unidentified river bank and one from an outside hotel stairway, showing a single Swastika flag. No attribution. No follow up. No ID of the flag holder (and it looked that they were likely the same guy), despite a $10,000 reward. No video anywhere, despite every single adult in modern society having a video camera on their person.
And yet……. the official narrative is that there were Nazi flags ‘everywhere’ and the presence of ‘Nazis’ was condoned by protest participants. Parroted by the ALL media (even occasional sympathetic ones, except, of course Rebel), politicians, and most distressing to me as a former army officer with a son currently serving, current and former general officers.
As an aside – The pre-planned narrative was effective. I have 2 nephews in Ottawa without a political bone in their bodies who were going to attend. My advice was to stay clear if they valued their gov’t jobs, as a picture of them with ‘the mob’ could result in termination, similar to anyone tainted with the Jan 6 protests.

I believe Sask has had 21 days all along. At least for some time now. Every other jurisdiction I’ve read about is 14 days.
It’s over. Most places in rural Saskatchewan never enforced mask or vaccine mandates. But the few holdouts have given up now. I haven’t worn a mask or had to present my bar code anywhere since Last Friday and no one has asked.

The passports need to be removed because they were unethical right from day one. Numerous politicians and public health bureaucrats have all but admitted that the sole reason for vaccine passports was coercion, not public health. Coercion to force a medical procedure is not allowed.
Regardless of ones opinion on covid or covid vaccines, a disease with such a low case fatality rate and where deaths and hospitalizations were concentrated in such a small segment of the population, such severe restrictions on rights should not even have been considered. That the coerced vaccine was also one of the most leaky, unsafe and ineffective in history just adds to the unethical use of vaccine passports and mandates.
On a positive note, at least my young adult kids and teenagers will be able to get back to normal life. I’ve been repeating the mantra of “this too shall pass” for what seems like eternity to them. These covid restrictions have been hardest on the young and almost impossible for the unvaccinated young. Character building and learning resilience the hard way, I suppose. At least they now see government realistically…politicians are crooks and cowards.
Coercion and enticement to accept a medical procedure may not be allowed but it has been done. And a lot of people need to be punished for this.
I’d go one step further. Amendments need to be made to ensure this never happens again. The right to medical autonomy and bodily autonomy must be made absolute and set in stone. Penalties for government, the medical profession and government agencies using coercion and force must be severe.
Nothing is ever in stone. Ever. No one will be punished except for those who have already been hurt because of income/business losses and in a multitude of other areas. Unfortunately many people will never be able to fully recover. And I repeat No one will be punished.
It looks like the truckers burst the damn open. There is no going back to full lockdown. Wait until the spring. People will feel like they’re emerging from a bomb shelter. It’s becoming over.
