  6. This exchange reminds me of what I just read on WUWT … about how climate models are put forward as “evidence” and “proof” of global warming. That a fatally flawed model has become a substitute for reality.

    1. Your remark reminds me of a fruitless search about 100 years ago for a good investment letter. They bragged about a model that back-tested perfectly. I was initially quite excited. Then about 5 seconds later it was: hold on a second there x M; of course it back-tested perfectly. It was constructed from that very data.

      Models are a very VERY major factor in the disastrous decisions made by gubmint during this scamdemic and future court cases should focus on these models.

      1. But, but, it was tested with out of sample data. You know, out of sample, as in a subset of what was already a part of the larger data set. I’m very familiar with the back testing dodge. I used to work in financial services.

        Today’s modeling is even more dishonest. They tweak the model until it spits out a wee “p” value and then declare clairevoyance.

    The Nazi “proof” was the drugged and dead corpses of a local farmer and concentration camp corpses dressed in Polish Army Uniforms at the Radio Station. Maybe the Ukranians can do something similar? Their country, their people.

    If the clowns in the F. Joe Biden Administration would ever try it? Chances are one of the corpses would be found with a copy of the complete operation plan of the false flag operation. Hell, If I was the Russian GRU or FSB, that would be one great way to discredit the US and NATO. Leave a copy of the US Plans on one of the bodies, or in one of the vehicles. or both.

  19. Not sure if people are paying attention but joe Biden needs a win. Starting a day or two ago he switched to guns, Russians and al Quaeda. Tough joe going to keep America safe. The economy is in trouble, people are tired of Covid and even a black judge on the Supreme Court isn’t moving the needle. Tough joe is the new invention. Back firing already.

      FWIW – WMD, I am directly related to a US Marine, 2 tours in Iraq, blown up once from an IED, and he was stationed and guarded WMD in Iraq. 3 football field sized underground bunker. 10 year old Iraqi kids raiding it (it was mere feet under the sand, and they dug into it) to get land mines et al for the IED campaign and the Marines refused to shoot the kids even though they knew the land mines would end up being used as IED’s to kill fellow soldiers. BUT the key point is, all the chemical and biological stuff in the barrels in the back – even the kids stayed away from those things – they knew. The problem is, political timing. Bush went on the campaign, got disgraced when it wasn’t found, and then they found it after – he was embarrassed. He could not then go back and say “found it” as the press would have said “yeah, ya planted it after the fact”. He was in a no-win position. Think about it – the US and everyone else SOLD it to them in the Iran-Iraq war prior. And Saddam used it then – they knew he had it. “Saddam used it all then” is a fiction. He always held back reserves. What Saddam lacked was a delivery system (rocket, missile, etc) to effectively deliver a WMD. A warhead is easy – boom – when it lands. Russians gave him that (SCUD). Same said SCUD with chemicals was a technology above his grade, but he was close. Hence……. nevertheless, I cringe when I hear anyone say “yeah, you were wrong about the WMD”. No. Actually, No. Family member was there. Twice, guarding Saddam’s WMD in Iraq. He didn’t blow his precious wad fighting Iran years before. That’s fantasy if you think so. Think it through.
