1. How motivated will these guys be if they’re ordered to go round up their fellow countrymen while going through the same B.S. ?

2. about 300 more protesters you say! Yes Frank, I think even the ones who complied will not obey orders to round up their fellow citizens, as they may not have wanted to comply , but have reasons to do so, just as I got the clot shot, because of on going medical issues .

4. Chairman Xi must be laughing himself loopy about now. We don’t have a military anymore. We have another government civil service department where employees are encouraged to display their looniest forms of expression. The loonier, the better.

5. Only soldiers 15000 total (300 is 2%). Hard to do crowd control over multiple fronts.

6. What I find particularly amusing about this is the CF argument boils down to one needs to be medically ready to be deployed at a moment’s notice, whether one is regular force or reserve. Sure. But there are probably hundreds of officers throughout the CF who refuse to get medicals, because if they did they would be medically released from the CF for health issues (heart attacks, chronic disease, etc) that they’re currently hiding from their employer. So healthy reserve private Bloggins is going to be kicked out of the CF, but everyone is going to look the other way about the major at brigade with a chronic disease, because in two more years he can retire with a full pension. Rules for me, but not for thee.

On the other hand, the Canadian military is making giant strides in inclusiveness, by allowing personnel to put their pronouns into their signature blocks and flying the rainbow flag on bases during Pride day! And having the CDS “encouraging” troops to attend pride parades in uniform. For March, women’s month, a CF member will speak about “her” transition in the CF. That totally makes up for kicking out a bunch of uncooperative troops, does it not? /s

8. Not sure if this still applies, but 30 years ago was told by members of Canadian military that they were required to not obey an illegal order. If there are still officers who maintain this belief, then Turdeau would be importent. Also, use of military only appropriate if the local police are unable to maintain order in a situation and so far Ottawa police haven’t had any need to ask for military assistance. False flag operations would be only way to involve military and much harder to hide now with everyone having a cell phone with a camera.
