  1. Forgive me, but as a pansy-weathered native Californian … how dangerous is all this slow-roll and stopped traffic in these conditions. I can only assume that each vehicle is equipped with Arctic survival gear, food, water, including a couple five gal. gas cans in the trunk!? I honestly don’t know how you people live in these conditions …

    1. No one in their right mind drives around wintry climates (basically anywhere north of Albuquerque) without proper emergency supplies. Worst weather I’ve ever driven in was a blizzard in Western Kansas.

  2. Heck, as long as there’s diesel in the tank you can stay hunkered down forever in a lot of those trucks. They’re practically one bedroom apartments.
